Lots of variety at this bakery: fresh bread and buns, cookies, tarts, donuts, pies, patties, samosas, they have everything. People seem to rave about the apple fritters so I had to get those. I ordered 4 since the cashier said they were freezable. I think they were $2.75/each. They were really good - soft and moist, cinnamon apple flavour with the perfect amount of glaze. I wanted to try the lemon cream cheese danish but they switch up the flavours and didn't have this one available....read full review
Stopped in on a Saturday morning as the reviews were impressive. We were able to grab a couple apple fritters and they were amazing. Also ordered a variety of tarts (2 peach, 2 raspberry and 2 plain). I wasn't impressed with the tarts. The shells didn't seem cooked all the way and the filling of the butter tarts was very runny (not my preference, I prefer a more solid filling) the raspberry and peach fillings were very good. Fantastic smell when you enter this bakery, cinnamon, apple, and fresh breads, wander around looking at the goodies and take in the aroma. Plenty of helpful staff. The apple fritters are baked just the way I like them, dark and a little crispy on the outside, soft and a perfect bake inside. Parking can be hard to find, lots of traffic, and on going construction in Erin.
