I have mixed reviews of this place. The sandwiches were ok but the scones and desserts were really good. Service was ok and the experience was decent value for money. Only issue is their reservation system, asks you to either book for high tea or the food menu. I should have called in to clarify, and that is on me. But I booked a table for high tea for 3 including my child and when we got there, we were hoping to do an item from the lunch menu for our child and they refused,...
What a lovely way to end our girls day in Erin. Recommend making a reservation, as it gets busy. The food and ambience were lovely. I loved my Lady Lavender tea. The owner was so sweet and welcoming. It's a must visit if you're in Erin, Ontario.
We could not be happier with this restaurant. My daughter and I have been driving from Barrie to Mattie Hatters at least five times a year for the last few years. It is our favorite place to go for lunch. The food is incredible! The service is gracious and excellent. We have never once been disappointed. We haven’t been here for high tea yet. We absolutely love their lunch menu.
