Very decent pastas, burgers and pizza. Food was nice and hot, server kind and professional. A wee bit pricey for what you're getting, but, to be fair, burger was MASSIVE. A great choice if you're staying at Pinewood and are budget-minded: you can have a few drinks here and walk back across street and not drink and drive. I would absolutely return.

As grandparents we enjoy taking our grandkids out for dinner whenever we get the chance. We recently took them to the one in Espanola. We got our appetizers (potato skins and mushroom caps). It took one hour and kids didn't get their grilled cheese and mozzarella sticks; I waited forever to finally get my salad (easiest part of my meal) and never got my bread as a starter?. So we said - we are leaving! And the waitress said - are you going to at least pay for your appetizers ??♀️??. Note to self - by pass Cortina and go to the restaurant across the road as fb friends highly recommend it. Rarely ever do we get upset at a restaurant - but tonight - definitely not a happy customer. Oh and the "guy" says "don't come back rather than the customer service greeting (have a good night)"??. And of course I told him it was definitely poor service.

We moved to Espanola a couple months ago and have been trying ALL our local eateries. I can't believe it took us so long to land at Cortina. Our server Barb was just phenomenal! The Caesar salad was delicious - creamy, salty, lemony and fresh. The French Onion soup was excellent. Spaghetti and meatballs + Penne were fabulous, perfectly prepared homemade pasta with a full-flavoured zesty tomato sauce (chef's kiss YUMMY). Oh, and the home baked loaf of buttery bread was a little too good - if you know what I mean; it definitely led to takeout boxes for our entrees. We're a little gluttonous, so we also got a small BBQ Chicken Pizza to-go, which was the BEST pizza we've ever had. You just have to eat here!

So glad we found this restaurant! One of us had the liver snd onions with mashed potatoes—loved it!! And the other of us had the hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy—loved it!! Their coffee is delicious too! Service is amazing! Anyone in Espanola or travelling through, should eat here.. ??

Can't speak to the pizza (though the one's coming by us smelled good); we snuck in for some apps and a couple draft beers. Was lovely (deep fried cheese curds omg). Great little spot, super friendly folks.
