First time customers here in Essex for a fall vacation from Indiana. This was good ice cream at a fair price. The young woman scooping the ice cream and cashing us out was so kind. It is cash only, but thankfully there was an ATM inside the store. My wife, daughter and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Yes the place is nice the staff is great and the ice cream is delicious, but OMG THE CHICKEN CHOPPER IS BACK!! I used to eat the famous Chicken Chopper originally at the sandwich counter at the grocery store, then Sonny's Pizza took it over and now it's here! And delicious!!! Check it out folks, it's legit!!
My wife and I had the essex chicken chopper and fries tonight .it was one of the best sandwiches we have ever had !! Chicken was right to the edges of the bread .bread was very fresh . Fries cooked perfectly !! Will definitely eat there again !!!
