I ordered a small jerk chicken today with oxtail gravy. I open the container I had no chicken! I got a jerk chickenless meal. I ordered it to go so by the time I got to my destination I couldn’t go back. I was so upset! Didn’t expect to eat vegetarian jerk chicken -_-

Nastiest food I’ve ordered , im a toronto food reviewer please support queen jerk instead, especially if you order online, they’ll just send whatever to you…. They dont hire experience chef and the boss seem to be racist towards white people when i expressed my dismay…

Got the oxtail which was a medium for almost 20 dollars. I was really hungry and decided to give this place a try. The food is very bland and has zero taste! I was recommended the jerk chicken, but so glad I didn’t buy it because I tried a little piece of it and it has zero taste. Like zero salt. I’m so shocked for a big Jamaican restaurant like this to be lacking so much flavour. Pretty disappointed. Won’t be buying food here again.

The only reason this gets 2 star and not 2 is because of the ackee and saltfish meal. They really fill up the container with it and it was really good. The ground provision was also really soft all though it could use a touch of salt. The carrot cake was warm. The saltfish fritters was extremely big and flat. Nothing special. The plantains were burnt. The felt was good. Dumpling was decent but it was a bit too similar in taste to the festival but slightly less soft. After having the food in the fridge after a few hours, my husband had his and he said it was stale. Fresh food should go bad in a short time. The patty was also stale.

Food is good, service is terrible. The make things worse, there’s a man that often panhandles outside and inside the restaurant saying he needs money for a patty at Jane Finch??? Food often takes 20 mins and cashier is always in a bad mood.

No one’s there. The store was open, I went in stood for 10 mins and rang the bell for service twice. Saw a person come put an apron on and just walk away.

Hard to find good Jamaican food. After reading through most of the reviews i decided to try this place. Goat 8/10 oxtail 8/10 stew chicken 8.2/10.

The place is usually quiet but they could stand to play some engaging music to promote a more positive experience. I also have been verbally abused by a man that regularly comes in begging for change. The staff did nothing and continue to allow him to panhandle inside the restaurant. Also, the bathroom is using dish soap for handwashing, barely any toilet paper and I heard rumors that a customer once found a dirty feminine hygiene napkin left on the counter. When she complained she was treated rudely by the staff. I come for the breakfast porridges only once in a blue moon out of utmost convenience.

Great place to grab Jamaican food at a price point
Twice been here for the shrimp curry and rice&peas. So good! I'm not sure about others' experiences but my food was prepared quickly and the person at the till was friendly. Definitely recommend.

Am i begging for food i ordered a medium bbq chicken with rice and peas with a rum cake . Why did i had a serving of a small in a medium container. I paid for it and waited long snd the food was not fresh at all my stomach is churning. Which i haven't ate the cake as yet what's the problem

If you don't have 20 mins to waste don't go there. No one in the line and it will take u about 15 to 20 mins to get your food. Service sucks big time.
