Stopped by Afro Continental Ghanaian Restaurant for dinner with a friend and really enjoyed the food. I had the waakye and goat suya; both were delicious and well-seasoned. The prices were quite affordable and definitely competitive compared to other similar spots in the area.

My friend got the jollof rice with meat and she enjoyed her dish as well.

As for the service…it’s about what you’d expect from a typical African restaurant. Nothing extraordinary, but it got the job done. At the end of the day, the food made it worth it. We’d definitely come back but only for takeout.

I’ve been coming to Afro Continental for years, and they never disappoint. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared—it truly feels like a home-cooked meal every time. Their consistency and quality over the years are unmatched. Afro Continental remains my top choice for delicious Ghanaian cuisine. Highly recommend! The staff are so wonderful and friendly!!

They have the best Ghanaian food in the GTA. I hardly eat from outside and they’re one of the few restaurants I always buy food from. From banku, to waakye to rice balls with peanut butter soup. You name it. 🥰🥰

I've had Jollof with baked or fried Chicken here before, it's good. I've also had Goat Light Soup with Fufu which was really great! The light soup is so rich and flavourful. The Goat Suya is also very good.
