Food was alright. I had the chicken on Poutine which I don't normally order...hubby got the shawarma wrap. Service was friendly and fast. Very nice people. BUT The place needs more attention to daily cleaning. Floors were filthy. Bathrooms were in bad shape, surfaces everywhere grimy and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time.
Not recommended. It runs at the subsistence level, nothing works and I watched a ketchup container blow up in front of me. The chicken shawarmas were pasty and uninspiring. This is the 4th such place at this location, and I have such fond memories of the earlier ones. All these places have closed around us.
I have been going to various Ali baba restaurants around the city for years but this is one of my favourite spots. It’s usually quiet but the staff is nice and the place is clean. Good is made fast but with care .
