Allwyn's Jerk (Etobicoke)

I got the big jerk sandwich. A dry coconut bread layered with a dry beef patty with a small helping of jerk chicken in the centre, topped with what appears to be frozen Cavendish fries from the local no frills with a sour oxtail sauce on top. No coleslaw or vegetables whatsoever. Basically just 3 dry carbs layered on top of eachother with barely enough sauce to help the dryness. The only redeeming quality was the chicken which was somewhat tender. I will not be coming back. Happy New Year

I ordered for a party a week in advance, 4 beef and 2 chicken dozen of patties. Super excited. They took down my order, all good.

Then day before my party, told me they didn’t the chicken. That 24 patties I need to replace, and expected. I said I’m happy to order 2 more dozen of beef, but if they could compensate somehow, from a customer service standpoint. They didn’t. I cancelled the entire order, because of their attitude (not rude, just didn’t deliver as promised).

Couldn’t even compensate me for something, in a pinch.

I wish the portions could be a little bit more, once i ordered the bbq chicken and it was cold. They also forgot to pack my beef patty i ordered but i guess thats my fault for not checking before i left.

I have previously reviewed this place very well. But now there's a very rude lady when you call. She is very rude. I like to call the restaurant to put extra sauce on my sandwiches or whatever I'm ordering I just like extra jerk sauce… But now there's a rude lady that answers the phone and will tell you to call back in two minutes and you do that and she will then not answer the phone… And send out your order without your actual requirements. Not good customer service. It is very bad and as a result, I won't be back. Thanks to her they lost a customer and a pretty good customer. I placed my final order yesterday through Uber at around 5 PM.

Both their platters and sandwiches! I always make it a destination spot whenever visit anywhere remotely close to here, even if I have to detour my route it’s always worth it! They don’t miss!

I always come Etobicoke location for jerk chicken on roti. I asked not to rap roti with the jerk chicken but place it side by side. The cashier was so rude to snap like I am child. Instead of saying politely no they don't do that. When asked why she was so rude in her tone. Her response was she is busy and doesn't have time to serve this request. I remember this request was cared by the gentleman who was working on the other day. That is why I requested again. Rude behaviour will loose customer.

Ordered $25 Large Jerk chicken meal on ubereats, we picked it up and the old asian lady there said the owner doesn't allow ubereats pick up anymore or else we won't get refunded for the food.

If that's the case, why do you still allow the pick up option on ubereats?

Also, 4 pcs of very little chicken on a large meal? Is this for real?

Used to come here all the time. Got my whole family into this place. Best to go to scotty bons, they actually like their customers.

I found a live bug in my meal — completely unacceptable. Had to throw out the entire dish. This shows serious hygiene and quality control issues. Be cautious ordering from here until they address this

We had our wedding luncheon catered and the service and food were superb. My guests loved it and many asked for information on the restaurant.
