This is not fast food. This is a restaurant. This place should be a lot more expensive. This restaurant is clean. The staff are kind and classy. The music, the table cloth, the decor, the wallpaper, and pretty much everything is just right. The food is cooked from fresh. The food is delicious.

This place never fails to delight. The food, the atmosphere, the staff - all of it just clicks. We've been there with friends both finicky and food obsessed, and no one's ever had a complaint. It's cozy, so make a reservation on a Friday or Saturday night. And save room for the kenafe for dessert. You'll be glad you did.

Anatolia is an institution for Turkish food in the GTA. It has been around for a few decades, and has been featured in various local media including The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, BlogTO, Toronto Life, and more. It's not hard to see why. The service is top-notch (our server paid attention to every detail, service was fast overall, and very nice and friendly), the ambience is lovely and homey (with traditional Turkish wall decorations and music in the background), and the food is one of the best out there when it comes to Turkish cuisine. Most people might think of meat kebabs when they think of Turkish food, but this place shows that their vegetarian dishes deserve more praise and recognition! What I love most about Anatolia is its variety of vegetarian dishes options, and also the amount and variety of vegetables in each dish. In one meal, I think I ate the full rainbow colour spectrum (counting the number of different types of vegetables in all the dishes combined). Review of the dishes: 1) Shepherd's Salad (chopped fresh tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers, parsley, and diced onions tossed in olive oil and vinegar house dressing) - Simple yet nice and refreshing. 2) Red Cabbage & Beets Salad (red cabbage, beets, carrots, arugula, walnuts, green apple slices) - The naturally slightly bitter arugula pairs nicely with the sweet beets and slightly sour Granny Smith green apple slices. The walnuts and apple add a nice crunch. 3) Zeytinyagli Enginar (artichoke hearts sautéed with onions, dill, peas, carrots, and potatoes) - If you've ever tried to prepare and cook artichokes yourself at home, you'd know how long it takes to prepare them and you'd appreciate the artichokes cooked well in restaurants. This dish is hands down my favourite out of all the vegetarian dishes at Anatolia. It look and sounds simple, but tastes really delicious. 4) Imam Bayildi Tabagi (oven baked velvety eggplants stuffed with sautéed onions, tomatoes, red and green peppers, garlic, and freshly chopped parsley), served with bulgur - This is my 2nd favourite vegetarian dish from the menu. The eggplants are so soft and velvety, and the mixture of other vegetables just make every spoonful a satisfying one. The bulgur is lightly seasoned, and makes the perfect accompaniment to the baked stuffed eggplants. 5) Vegetarian Manti (Turkish handmade mini dumplings filled with onions, spinach, and squash, topped with garlic yogurt, mint, paprika, and sumac) - Sometimes it's hard to find manti that do not contain meat, so this vegetarian manti dish is a great find. I like that it contains additional pieces of squash outside of the manti, and the thick yogurt sauce is very rich and filling. The mixture of the garlic yogurt and various herbs covering the manti makes a great party on your tastebuds with every spoonful. 6) Grilled Calamari (tender marinated calamari grilled on an open flame and served with garlicky roasted red peppers) - Tender and a bit chewy. The roasted red peppers are a bit overcooked (very soft and limpy), but it's an okay dish overall. 7) Karides (Shrimps) Sautée (shrimps sautéed in garlic, butter, green pepper, tomatoes, onions, herbs, and homemade vegetable broth, then baked with mozzarella cheese), served with rice - I wasn't too fond of this dish, but it might just be because my preference for non-cheesy seafood dishes. 8) Hummus - They give a complimentary basket of bread (which comes out nice and warm, and smells really good from the light butter topping) and hummus (nicely sprinkled with paprika) at the beginning of the meal. You can tell that the hummus is 100% homemade (more coarse and flavourful compared to the well-blended store-bought hummus. They sprinkle paprika on the hummus, and the hummus itself contains some Middle Eastern spices (perhaps including sumac), making it aromatic and more tasty than the typical regular hummus. If they sold their hummus by the jar, I'd buy it. Out of all the dishes that I tried at Anatolia, I love the vegetarian ones the best. It's probably one

Went to Anatolia yesterday for dinner and had a great experience with the ambience, their service and delicious food. They were really accommodating with us showing up half an hour before they close. Could not recommend more!

Such a lovely place ? We've been there 2 times so far; one of them was for a special Turkish night and we enjoyed both visits. Food is very delicious, staff and owner are so respectful, responsible, kind and friendly. They're following the health rules and is very clean place. We had so much fun at the Turkish night. The place is so authentic and feels like home. Prices are regular nothing expensive comparing to food's yummy taste ? Specially the homemade bread, soup and appetizers were so delicious. We're sure we'll be back here regularly going forward ?

Please don’t waste your time reading the reviews, as a Turkish person I can easily say this is the best restaurant to try Turkish food. Hunkar beyendi ( lamb meat over roasted eggplant) was simply INCREDIBLE and my friend who ordered stuffed artichoke was also very impressed. The dippings we ordered were also perfect, I really regret not visiting earlier! I definitely suggest it!!!

Amazing food, the most authentic Turkish food I have had in Canada. And I am Azeri. . Service was super attentive and organized. The manager was always on top of the service. And must say, I’m pregnant and picky and that kunafe was just the right everything. My partner is Iranian and he said that was some of the most flavourful food he has had in a long time. Thank you !

A great local spot for Turkish cuisine. The food here is tasty and fresh. The prices are fair for the quality you receive. I'd suggest the warm hummus, manti, and beyti.

I enjoyed the experience at Anatolia Restaurant. The thing that stood out the most is their customer service. Patient, informative, friendly and attentive. Really well done.We were a group of 3 and we tried the following:Meze Tabağı (Bread with multiple spreads) (Also received a salad as a compliment) - Really enjoyed the different flavors of the spreads especially the Tomato and Walnut ones. The salad was great as wellBlack Sea Chicken - I tried this one and I felt the flavors could be better. The chicken was made probably with the same tomato base as the spread mentioned above. I somehow felt this wasn't as special as I would have wanted it to be. Next time I will try the Hunkar Begendi which was sold out when we dined.Manti - My friends had this one and thoroughly enjoyed this beef/gnocchi/dumpling style dish with Turkish spicesBaklava (and Turkish Delight which was given to us as a compliment) - Was really good and flavorfulTurkish Coffee - The star of the night for me! AmazingI would return to Anatolia to try their other offerings. Would highly recommend.

I'm by many accounts a good cook and host subsequently I know my food. Last week I invited my friends to Anatolia ,my daughter had come for a visit with her family, from London UK and my friends who are all good cooks wanted to celebrate her. And boy did Anatolia deliver!! The food was fresh and tasty, every dish excelled in its own right. The customer service was superb .The owner was a great host, humble and welcoming while the rest of the staff were equally competent. Thank you Anatolia, you made me proud.

So so good! My family and I were craving Turkish food and this place was close to us in Etobicoke. We ordered for takeout and pickup was smooth and seamless. Your order will be ready exactly on time. The restaurant itself is beautiful on the inside, it looks like you're transported away from Canada for sure. We ordered the Kalamari, the small Meze tabagi (every dip in a small container), Vegetarian Manti, Anatolia mixed plate, islim kebapi, and Izgara kofte. See below for pictures. Everything was so juicy and tender! My favourite was the grilled Kalamari and the Izgara kofte.

Made a reservation, due to covid they're now asking that you're vaccinated before coming in which is reasonable. I ordered the Beyti and my hubby and brother ordered the mixed grill for 2 both came with a salad. I have to say, the service and quality of the food was astounding. Will definitely come back and recommend this to everyone we know.
