It was my birthday Nov 4, I asked my family to take us to Armenian Bistro on Dundas St West, after I keep seeing this amazing ad on facebook about this restaurant. I was very disappointed. The atmosphere is nothing to talk about, the lamb and pork pieces were tough, the chicken & salads were good. After this experience, I am skeptical to believe what I read or see on facebook.

Delicious food and amazing service. Everyone is nice, and try to do their best. Food took about 20-25 minutes to arrive - we ordered chicken shashlik, hinkali, and olivie - everything was amazing. The space to dine in is very limited.

Delivery Review: chicken Kiev was very bland, boring, and tasteless! I didn't see anything inside, like herbs and butter etc. Maybe I got a defective piece?? Pierogis were very oily and also lacking flavour and taste. I expected Armenian cuisine to be more flavourful than what I just ate. Waste of appetite and $$!

The chicken was undercooked and had a purple color. It was also very salty. As for the prices, a bottle of juice cost $9, which I found quite expensive.
If you are looking for beef Kabab, this is not the right place to go, as they have beef with pork kabab only. Overall, I wouldn’t come again.

The good was extraordinarily well made. Everything just tasted amazing and the food was fresh and tasty. The waiters were also super friendly and really inviting. It was a pleasurable Armenian experience. Greetings from Frankfurt, Germany. We will definitely come back again!

This is the best food I tried in the long time in Canada, what a discovery. Food is excellent, so fresh and feels like homemade. Our whole family love it. We had a party our big family ordered from them and it was delicious. They have such a nice customer service, friendly and welcoming. We came on Thursday stuff was very nice. We appreciate you guys. And coming back again.

Walked in to try this local restaurant for dinner after seeing the positive reviews. I was thinking to potentially dine in at first, but upon entering I realized the interior wasn’t very welcoming. It was empty inside and looked somewhat run down/outdated.
There was no one out front and no one came for a while. After a few minutes, a lady from the back kitchen saw me and said someone would come help. After waiting a bit, this older man came out the kitchen with a scowl and just asked “what do you want”. I said I was debating whether to dine in or get take out and asked if I could look through their menu first. The man just gave me a gesture as if I was wasting his time and just turned away ignoring me - walking back into the kitchen and out of sight.
The sheer lack of customer service and basic courtesy took me aback and left me with an unpleasant feeling that I was not welcome here. I decided to leave and found a different restaurant down the road instead to enjoy dinner at.
Unfortunate experience here, hoping to find a different Armenian restaurant with better service standards in the city.

Pork shashlik was nice, chewy, and flavourful. The side were all nicely flavoured too. 18 dollars is a little steep for a standard meal but the size of the plate more then makes up for it, especially considering inflation.
