Aster's unique offerings make it special and "eSpecially" this Christmas. We took a box of Christmas desserts to a dinner party and they were the highlight of the meal. Their cakes are also great. Its my go-to place for cakes for all occasions.

Here's my experience.
Service- My order on NYE became a huge issue at the pickup. The online confirmation indicated that my pick-up time was 5 to 7 pm. I arrived 5:50 which was much earlier than the cut-off. The store was closed. Luckily, I caught a person coming out of the backdoor. The person wasn't clearly in charge of this place, but explained that it is closed at 5pm today. She wanted to leave me high and dry because of her taxi arriving. She didn't...

I was visiting friends in Toronto and needed good pastry and a cake. Locals recommended Aster’s and said “EVERYONE KNOWS THEM”. And once i shopped there - i knew why! Walking in i felt like a kid in a toy store - i wanted to try EVERYTHING! every macaroon, pastry, cookie or a cake looked finger licking delicious! I HAD to buy everything! Brought back to US a box of macaroons. Brought a nice mango/passion fruit (with secret chocolate layer) cake for my friend and enjoyed...
