I don't order oxtail from anywhere because people don't make oxtail properly or you just get bones. When I say, after 5 years of not trusting anywhere with oxtail.I found my spot...Tun up!

I can't believe what happened to me today. I am one that loves to support my black business but after today I have to take a pause. I have been buying from this restaurant for over five years spending up to $60 on food and the special "natural ginger beer" . People, there are times I would take all the ginger beer or beet juice . I am one loyal customer. Today I ordered 3 lunch special and was told that the lunch special is over. I said to the server " you just served the man in front of me" he said it's after 3pm the special is over. I asked how comes you gave him the. Special at 3:10pm and it now 3:13pm. He replied he is a family friend. I told him that bad business practice in which he replied " you can talk to my parents. I paid for the food and the drinks totalling over $60. Aunty Bell please correct such practice, at times I come in and purchase all of your beet and ginger juices. your food is good but I give a failing grade on your practice

Excellent! Stewing chicken here is the best! The lunch special is a good portion for a good price, and I will be coming back!

I have to write a review on this restaurant. I have nothing to say about owner / Auntie Bell. First time I brought curry chicken and taste and gross. Doesn’t even taste like curry at all. I waste my money over this food and I throw away.

This take out restaurant never disappoints! The servings are generous and well worth the price. We tried the stewed chicken and curry goat today. The meat was so tender and tastyyyyy! Yumm! I barely made it to the rice. Came with creamy coleslaw.Highly recommend! Thank you.

Positively surprised. First time there, got the lunch special- stew chicken. It was tasty and fresh. Might have msg in it though because the flavour was very intense...just guessing.

I bought 2 dinners and a soup. The soup was very clearly mostly a grace style powdered soup. There was no carrots or pumpkin, sticks of thyme, scallion or spices that makes a really good soup. The aftertaste was clearly powder based. The j*** chicken dinner was edible but not good at all but the oxtail was disgusting. I did not eat it, it went in the garbage. $45.00 and never again. I think this restaurant is the epitome of the new style of "fast food" for west indian dishes. Real Jamaican food has real spices you mix, marinade, and prepare from scratch. While there is variation we always use our scallion, onion, scotch bonnet, thyme, pimento, all spice, etc. I do not think any of these real spices were ever used. The oxtail was cooked in a disgusting bbq/oxtail bottle or canned sauce. The rice had peas but there was no good flavour. This may be what the new way is but I will never go back and support them. Willy's J*** is much better.

Auntie Bell’s is the GO-TO restaurant for AUTHENTIC Jamaican meals. Cliche to say it’s packed with flavour and great taste, but honestly this place NEVER disappoints. I’ve been coming here for several weeks now for dinner and each time I’m impressed. I can NOT express how amazing the meals are here. 100/10 ALWAYS! Home away from home!
