Food was great , especially bograch, delicious! Very friendly and nice servers, good atmosphere, feels like baba’s Ukrainian home with lots of unique staff for interior.

We were looking for good Ukrainian food and found AMAZING Ukrainian food. I have never eaten sauerkraut with a spoon before coming here - everything we had was so good (even the sour cherry verenyky was good even if we didn’t fall in love with it). The cabbage rolls with mushroom gravy were perfection. The pickle plate is a must. The borsch was so good it made me question why I hated it as a kid (sorry Baba I didn’t like yours but here it was amazing!) and the potatoes pancakes were life affirming. We will definitely be coming back here.

I waited an hour for the borscht. 1 hour. I’m not even kidding. I eventually went to subway and got a footlong and started eating it there, because I was watching a soccer match.

This was our first time visiting Barrel House Korchma — and definitely not the last! The restaurant is located a bit out of the way, but we finally found the time to visit, and it was absolutely worth it.

I ordered kvass, borscht with garlic pampushky, cherry varenyky, and pork shashlik with potatoes on the side. My boyfriend had deruny and the Ukrainian sausage with mashed potatoes. Everything was incredibly delicious — truly the taste of Ukraine!

The atmosphere is very authentic and cozy. Everything is made of wood, which my boyfriend (a carpenter) especially appreciated.

Our server was super friendly and attentive, always checking if we needed anything or extra utensils to share the dishes.

The food was just wow! I don’t even have the words to describe how good it was. A lovely bonus was the map of Ukraine where you can mark the city you’re from or have lived in.

Prices are very reasonable and the quality is top-notch. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic Ukrainian food and atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back again!

The place is really nice — I loved the music, and the borscht was amazing; I definitely recommend it. However, when I ordered vareniki with potatoes and mushrooms, I found a hair in the food, which really upset me. Also, I asked for syrniki with honey, but they brought them with sour cream instead.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, but the food quality could use some improvement.

Absolutely loved our visit! I ordered the liver and onions with potato pancake—delicious, and the beer was a perfect match. My lovely wife had the chicken schnitzel and it was awesome. Our server was so kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. The Ukrainian live music was incredible—you don’t need to understand the language because the music truly speaks to you. The whole place has amazing vibes and we left feeling so happy. Highly recommend for a wonderful night out!

everything here is booooooomb. the food and drinks are fantastic, service is friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely. mom told me the carpets on the walls are exactly the same she had in crimea. we looooved the khatchapurri, cabbage rolls, liver cake, perogies, and chicken kyiv. parking is across the street and patio is dog friendly. 10/10 will come back.

I visited with my partner for our anniversary. However, it was super disappointing to the food and cleanliness.
We ordered one hot appetizer like pizza, however the pork was so bad and tasted expired. I ordered Ukrainian sausage, even couldn’t finish half of them because the sausage tasted so bad and hard to cut.

And the patio table was so dusty and chairs were unstable. My partner had to change his chair a few times to look for a stable ones sitting.

For Ukrainian community, I think it’s a good spot; but my partner and I won’t visit this place again. Highly disappointed!!!!
