just went for a draft will never go back again all
And I mean all beer prices are ridiculously high for an only 14oz draft thats the smallest draft size we've ever seen at a pub. there is no happy hour the beer prices are outrageous for a 14 oz beer then again they don't sell any domestic draft and the food prices absolutely way too high for this area can you imagine a pound of wings for $20? their are so many pubs and restaurants in this area this place will never survive. without a happy hour this place is doomed for failure and belongs in a rich area like somewhere downtown Toronto and not in this no where West End area where there's plenty of competition. we will just simply go somewhere else that's reasonable on a good note there are so many microbrewery Spirits available in towns it'll make your head spin so if that's your thing if you have exceptional taste for out of this world cans of beer this would be your place to go

Fries could use some work. Other than that everything was excellent

It was our first time here. It was nice. The food was really good, the service was great. I will be honest it was a bit louder than I am used too. Maybe because I'm older, I like less loud. Thank you for enjoyable night. I would recommend Beertown to others for sure. Thank you.
Bubba.

I was there with a friend Friday evening. First time ever at the Beertown chain. The location was busy but enjoyable! Audrey was our server and was fantastic. Great selection of beers, and I really enjoyed the Erdinger Dunkel. The food was generally good. Enjoyed the pretzel starter. The Fish tacos and the brisket were delicious. The potato salad that came with the brisket was a little weak in flavour. The bread pudding desserts were good, but the creme brulee was a bit weak in flavour though and just slightly off. Overall, you'll have a good time here, and I'm sure over time, tweaks and adjustments will be made to the menu. I plan to be back again to try other beers and items on the menu and will adjust my review accordingly.

The atmosphere is nice, clean and bright. But the server we had wasn't helpful with questions. I think he decided we weren't going to spend much and therefore got bare minimum standards. When I asked questions about the extensive beverage menu and asked to sample something he pointed out we don't do that for cans (which yes that makes sense) but there is a nicer way to do it without making the customer feel dumb that they missed that fact.

We ordered truffle fries from the menu because they were gluten free friendly and they came out cold and soggy. The waiter also disappeared for a good half hour so we couldn't even send them back to get remade. By this point after the service and cold food we opted to skip dinner where we had fully intended ordering it once we finished our appy. Anyway, my friend had been to this location the week before and said it was much better service and food that time.

Gave it 3 stars for inconsistency - only go if you feel like you want to roll the dice.

Early dinner with family -- 8 adults + 2 teens -- on the Saturday of a holiday weekend with a huge snowstorm on the way. Not busy at all.
The service was very good. 3 servers. Food arrived quickly although one order was missing and we had to ask.
No problem getting separate checks for each family.
The food: brisket was fatty, burger was on the dry side and not hot, sweet potato fries were hot and delicious, Southern Fried chicken was a hit, Pad Thai(?) was a good veg choice.
Sat at a long, high, narrow table, which was okay and worked for conversing. TVs showing hockey.
Lots of food and beer/drink choices.

Vegetarian options: Yes.

Wheelchair accessibility: One door into a vestibule. 2nd door into bar. ♿️ parking by entrance.

Tomato soup was lovely - a toasted slice of bread would have topped it off nicely.
Service was top notch - I arrived after introductions but the staff took great care with our to go order, which I'm overly fussy with (wasn't even my food..so..ya).
Comfortable seating and enough natural lighting to create a nice warm atmosphere even on a vold blustery day for a chat at lunch.

Driest brisket I’ve ever encountered. The sides were flavourless. Odd. Vibe was cool, staff was very welcoming. Unfortunate.

With the closing of Orwells, this has become our neighbourhood meeting spot. It's not on the subway, but it has a huge free parking lot, and the bus runs right to the door.

A huge selection of beer options, including non alcoholic beers, means there is something for everyone. Food options are upscale bar food with vegetarian options, and they have seasonal specials. You can eat as healthy as you want.

While the atmosphere is visually great, my only complaint is that it gets LOUD. It's tough to hear everyone when you get a group together.

Good food, service and craft beer. Nice atmosphere to watch the game too. Wonton nachos good, wish for a bit more wasabi and ginger though. Chicken burger ok.

UPDATE: I popped in to the Etobicoke location the other day for a quick bite. I asked if Sim (asst. mgr) was in but there was a different one on duty. Though I insisted to only speak to Sim to be fair, the waitress got the current asst mgr to come over. (As a side note...not fair they send over Terence who was so amiable, good looking, great smile and personality. If I HAD wanted to vent, I would have been quickly disarmed LOL) Turns out they indeed had kept a record of my previous experience, and to make a long story short, Terence said my whole bill for that day's meal was on the house. Seriously! I hadn't expected that and it was a well above and beyond kind of customer service. Leaves feel-good vibes. I mean, when does that EVER happen that a whole bill is taken care of???

Sadly, overall with ALL restaurants that I get take out from, I will be double checking my order BEFORE I leave the location from now on.

Previously...
I REALLY like their menu. Tried a few things and enjoyed everything. I've eaten in twice at the downtown location and no one seems to be responsible for the tables. Everyone coming to the table is someone different and then no one knows when someone is on break??? We have to grab other waitstaff as they pass by.
Last night I was at the Etobicoke location and ordered take out - a small Caesar salad with shrimp (generous portion of shrimp BTW). Cost including tax was almost $20 which seems a bit on the expensive side but I had a craving. Got home and no dressing. I can't count the number of times I've ordered take out or delivery and the order was missing something, from ANYWHERE I order. I had never ordered a Caesar salad for takeout before from here so didn't know how many packages to expect.
I called the manager and explained the situation who was very patient, listened well, empathetic but couldn't do anything for me unless I was willing to make the 20 minute drive back down to the restaurant. I had paid cash, so although she found my order on the system, wasn't able to refund it (she hadn't suggested she could anyway)
I don't know why or how I can ever trust (all) restaurants because they almost all seem to forget some part of the order, not to mention I believe in general the portions are smaller in take out. Definitely can't trust delivery orders.

If you like Molson Canadian this place might not be for you! Seems big with the office crowd, very loud due to all the hard surfaces. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was average. One Oder of greasy Fish & Chips, you would be better off going to New Toronto F&C, and one Big burger which was nothing o write home about. Started with the spinach dip which was tasty. It’s the kinda place you go once. Just another conglomerate. Unless you are going to an office function, go to one of the many better places in the area, check my other reviews!

Great beer selection. Trappists (La Trap Tripel) on tap! Would definitely go back for the beer.

Food was decent. Pretty standard fair. There wasn't anything wrong with it, but I don't think I would go back just for the food. Had wings and truffle fries. It did accompany the beer well.

Will say, service was great.
