I've been going to the Goose for over 20 years. Best tavern in the city. Started going originally to listen to the blues performed by a trio called the Pie Guys. They had a great guest performer every week. Anyone who knew the keyboardist and lead singer will always have a place in they're heart for his huge talent. Rest in peace, Rod.The staff were always friendly and willing to have their ears bent. Kirk was the best. I hope he enjoys his retirement.Karaoke was hosted...
An interesting place as a throw back to an older time. A real local dive bar with typical bar/pub grub which is neither cheap nor good. Good for a quick beer in the evening or hanging out with the boys.
Middle of the road place. Has potential with the live music if the band decides to play. Cash only place so make sure you come with or use the ATM they have in the corner. The food is passable, meaning you should pass. Drinks are good but a bit in the pricy side. I likely won't go again as there are so many other places to discover in Toronto.
