I came for lunch with a friend and we ordered two of the lunch specials, and a samosa chaat. The chaat was incredible; samosa was crispy, and the chole and chutneys were delicious together. We ordered the chicken biryani special (as seen in the pic) and the paneer makhani special (our appetite took over so we didn’t photograph the second one haha). The lady working there is super sweet and the food was absolutely delicious, with huge portions too! When we left, we were stuffed to the brim. Will definitely be coming back again :)

Hakka Fried rice was poorly prepared. There was no 'fried rice', but rice mixed with some sauce. Chicken was almost invisible. Not at all worth the price even though there is 1+1 offer in Uber.

Seeing the review I ordered from this restraunt and I was so disappointed….the food was definitely not good. I had ordered two vada pav and for the first time I just got Vada pav without the chutneys. Even the taste was so bad- it was extremely dry and had no flavours. I was so disappointed that I wasted my money and I didn’t even enjoy it at all.

I have been coming here since 2009. It is still and by far one of the best Indian restaurants in southern Ontario. Family-run, authentic and all around warm in atmosphere, this place delivers flavour. The kind of flavour you can’t get enough of.Do yourself a favour and get yourself here for some delicious food!

The food quantity is awesome!!! The food exceeded my expectations, with each dish bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. The only room for improvement is the turn around time.
One of my Favourite Indian Cuisine. Loved the food and service.

Last weekend, I dined at Bombay on the Lake, and it was a delicious journey I won't soon forget. The Samosa Chaat was a delightful starter, followed by the Butter chicken and Daal Tadka. The flavors were exceptional, complemented perfectly by freshly baked naan. The service was impeccable, making me feel like a valued guest throughout. Bombay on the Lake exceeded all expectations, and I can't wait to return for another flavorful escape.
