My first time trying Serbian food and i believe this just became one of my favorite restaurants. I tried the Chicken Schnitzel and it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I tried the Chevepi for the first time as well and it was some of the most flavorful meat I ever tried before. The waitress was super nice and accommodating This being a small restaurant is exactly the vibe I been looking for. I'll definitely be coming again for future visits
Bonimi is an absolute gem for authentic Serbian soul food.
• Karadjordjeva Snicla: A crispy, golden, cheese-filled showstopper.
• Branzino with Blitva: Perfectly grilled fish with traditional garlicky Swiss chard and potatoes.

Excellent place, was with a group who ordered a meat platter that was outstanding. The chef takes meat and cheese to strange and delicious places. Went well with shots of various fruit brandy and bread. Server was lovely, had a generally good vibe.
It's a shame we don't see more Balkan cuisine in the city, because it's definitely worth a try. And it hits a sweet spot between different without being inaccessibly unusual.
