My wife and I had a great experience at Bramble Gastropub earlier this week. The food. the service and the ambiance were perfect. What was truly outstanding, however, was the staff's handling of my wife's unexpected health issue, as she became unconscious and slumped in her chair during dinner. The receptionist/hostess, Olivia, was quick and thoughtful in her response, discussing the situation with me and fellow restaurant guest who came to our table identifying herself as a physician, and then phoning for an ambulance. During the whole situation Olivia was gracious, respectful and highly competent. It made what could have been an awkward and difficult situation, smooth and low key, which was ideal for us. Ultimately, my wife's medical situation resolved with the paramedics arriving and taking over in a discreet outside part of the restaurant. Thank you to Olivia and the staff of Brambles. My wife is fine now, by the way!!

Their AC unit was blowing cold air directly onto the table we were seated at. We arrived without reservations so if you happen to go, plan ahead and request a table that is not next to the bar closest to the kitchen. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious, but the cold air blowing directly on me and the table and my dinner companion was not pleasant at all. The concern was sharing with staff, but there wasn't another table as the restaurant was full.

A neighborhood gem. We love coming here, been here many times. I would like to see a more extensive menu, sometimes the staff is not as attentive as other local restaurants in the neighborhood but the atmosphere is lovely and if you have the more experienced staff you'll have an incredible time. The owner has done a great job impacting the Kingsway with some great restaurant options. Bravo! Always look forward to coming to Bramble. We needed that in the hood!

Food was excellent. We were there for Sunday brunch and it was very noisy so not great for older clientele or anyone with hearing aids. We brought 5 people to a reservation for 4 which was not initially well received by staff despite many open tables available throughout our stay. It was a special occasion with grandparents so overall wasn’t as pleasant an experience as we’d hoped.

Hidden gem serving British food. My husband and I loved our full English breakfast although we both agreed the coffee could be better. We will definitely go back to try other items on their menu.
First time here. Was an awesome experience! Food was great - chicken wings were excellent. Service was great. A little noisy. One thing to mention - still serving American wine. While not under the same provincial restrictions, really - they should be replacing with another country. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I don't think we will go back until that is fixed. Waiter was really great!

Service was great, the place is nice, the food is abysmal. I don't know if the kitchen staff have any clue what they're doing. Nothing came out as described, the sauces taste like they're from packages, meat was tough but cold (which seems difficult to accomplish), and definitely not worth the price. If they get an actual chef I'm sure they'd do great, but until then I'd avoid the place. Sadly it's par for the course in the Kingsway.

I'm unsure if it was just an off day, but the restaurant had an odd smell (understanding it was a heat wave) and the air conditioning is as not on par to keep a room of people and food in a well kept temperature (i.e., it was it uncomfortable in the room). The patrons also were packed into the back of the restaurant when they could easily be spaced out The food was greasy / salad was wilting due to the restaurant temperature and the soda was flat. I dont like writing these reviews but I genuinely stopped eating my food and passed it to my partner and the stench (kind of like cleaner but dirty?) didn't leave my nose until the next morning. I loved it here on our last visit. This might have been a one off. I really don't know.
