We had such a wonderful experience at BRICKYARD BBQ & BAR! The owner and staff were welcoming and attentive and the ribs were so delicious!! We'll definitely be coming back soon and bringing friends. Highly recommend!

We waited almost 2 hours for our food. After placing the order. Other patrons walked out after placing orders. then we were ignored by general wait staff, tho our waitress was trying her best, She was pleasant & friendly and trying to be attentive apologizing for the wait.. We needed to chase our servers around to obtain condiments for our food & missing food items, our mother could not eat her poutine, because it was too spicy :'( the ribs tasted fine, the fries were not bad and the corn bread was good, sadly i'm not sure if it was worth the wait ....

This place was great! I went for the all you can eat brunch buffet with my daughter. We were the first to arrive and were seated by one of the waitresses. They had an amazing selection of breakfast and lunch items. The ribs were the best I have ever had. The selection wasn't very large, but what it lacked in selection, it easily made up for in the quality of the food. The quality of the food was top notch, I cannot emphasize enough how good the ribs were, all the other items were also very good. I tried the jerk chicken, hashbrowns, breakfast sausages (the flat oval type), stir fry beef, RIBS! (bbq pork ribs), bacon, fried chicken, waffles, some sort of salted fish stewed in green stuff (callaloo I think based on a Google search), mixed fruit, banana bread, churros, and a cookie. There was more food than that, but I was too full at the end to try anything else. They had a man making waffles, he was also making fresh omelets made to order with whichever toppings you wanted, fried eggs were also an option. The tables were comfortable and clean with plenty of room to move around. Only suggestions I would have is to label the items, some guess work had to go into knowing what a few of the items were at first. Also a large party of people came in and sat in the middle of the buffet, which made navigating around them a bit difficult, they should probably remove that table so less obstruction while trying to get food. Otherwise everything was amazing and my daughter and I really enjoyed our brunch, will definitely be attending again in the future.

We went on Thursday night at 7.24pm. we seated ourselves. We were not offered menu till 7.35pm. Our food came out at 8.15 pm. The food was good but waiting this long is ridiculous. The app we ordered was not in stock, so pretty much we ordered the half rack beef ribs and wings and chocolate cake. Funny thing is chocolate cake came before main, when we advised we still haven't gotten the food, then they went to check on the kitchen. I think service needs to be much better and we shouldn't have to wait almost an hr for food and we didn't have water on the table as well. My husband had just donated blood, so he was very exhausted as well, and waiting this long shouldn't be acceptable.

Thank you. Hoping for a better experience next time.

The food is good, but the service is not. I called to place an order for a curry goat at 2:43PM. Got there at 3:30 and they hadn't even started cooking it. You need to do better.

i have literally worked across the street for 10 years. i have passed this place by many times and each time i have always wanted to see what it was about. finally last week i went with a friend of mine and i was able to experience the ribs. they were 100% amazing, but i did enjoy them. it wasnt fall off the bone ribs which is fine, cause i felt it was different from everywhere else. the sauce was pleasant. we also got the wing special with cajun dry spice and it was good. you know it was a big place and was nice to sit at the booth with friend and just enjoy quiet company with. my only complaint was i wanted a seltzer and not a beer. and i didnt want to drink hard liquor.

I was very excited to go to this place because who doesn’t love a good BBQ place.

Well, this was a below expectation experience. The food was mediocre. I had the wings and they are no different than any other hole in the wall pub wings. I was hoping being a BBQ place that they would be smoked.

The service was fine. I can’t even believe that there wasn’t free refills of soft drinks!? Like really?

Overall this was a complete let down. I will never bother with this place again.

Ordered takeout from here twice and both times they got the order wrong. Ordered ribs but instead I get home, open up the bag and see a poutine

We came here for the first time when our friends from Sarnia who love ribs were visiting us. I have mobility challenges and I called the restaurant to find out about stairs since it looked like there were alot. I spoke with Shaneese (sp?) who was very nice and helpful. She explained there were only a few steps if I entered from the front. I reserved a seat on the patio. I ended up calling back again since the weather changed and looked like rain now. I again spoke to Shane's. She kindly changed reservation to inside. I asked for regular size table as high seats aren't good for me and neither were booths. Shaneese explained they don't have regular tables. I asked if I could sit at the end of the booth and she said I could. The next day Shaneese called me and let me know she was telling the owner about me and he arranged with her to set up regular table for my party. I was so moved and touched that Shaneese took the time to think of me and that the owner did this for me. Especially since I had never been there before. I thought that was extremely special. We had a wonderful dinner with Shaneese as our server. Food was fabulous, portions huge and price was right. We had a great evening made extra special by the amazing people who work here. They are the heart and soul of Brickyard

I really wanted to like this place more.

1. Rib sauce was tasty. Light yet sweet. Quality of rib meat ok - 3.5 ⭐️ caliber, not 4 or 5 like it should be.

2. Cornbread was delicious. Nice texture. Beans pretty tasty.

Unfortunately the remainder left a lot to be desired…

Rice and peas bland and dry — kinda seems they were a day old or something.

No wet naps/moist towelettes provided. Then when asked for them after eating, our table was advised there may not be any in the restaurant?
Of course then, the soap dispenser in the restroom was completely empty. Luckily, a back of house staffer was passing by so I could ask him to grab a soap refill.

Strong cannabis odour occasionally came wafting past our table. Not saying it was our server, but it only popped up ?? when they came by. ??‍♂️

Ordered for pick up, asked for the sauce to be on the side and the ribs came all with the sauce on them, which at the end I still didn’t mind. However, besides having the sauce in top, the ribs were extra dry, which was very disappointing. On top of that, the beans came with a wire inside!! No idea how that could get inside the beans but we could have had a serious health problem if we ate that. Won’t be ordering or coming back to this place.
