This is by far one of the neighbourhood's best restaurants. The dishes are perfectly spiced and the price is outstanding. The service is also great. I can't wait to go again!

The food is delicious, the jerk chicken had a crispy charred skin as it should (Grilled > Roasted > Baked) but the portions could’ve been better considering the amount of good business serving caribbean food in Toronto. The place is kinda hot but I guess it’s part of the caribbean theme, jk.Overall, a nice place that deserves a try.

I bought the doubles, alou pie & curry goat. EVERYTHING tasted bad. They used stale oil to fry the snacks. The rice was also stale, probably a day old.The place should be investigated by Health Canada.

Best vegan chana roti in town. Great people serving us, great family-run restaurant with authentic homemade recipes.

The food never disappoints. I have eaten here many times over the years and have never been upset with anything we have ordered. We've had the doubles, chicken roti, goat roti and shrimp roti. Very glad to still see the young men helping mom.

Really good Curry chicken roti, great doubles. Very authentic flavour. I keep going back.

Very disappointed in a restaurant that was rated 4.2 stars. We tried the shrimp and goat roti, as well as the doubles. The only thing that had flavour was the hot sauce they served on the side, everything else was completely bland as if they didn't use spices or seasoning. Any goat that was in the roti was dry, with no seasoning or sauce, and instead was filled with huge pieces of potato. There were very few shrimp in the roti, and they were mini and overcooked. Usually a saving grace, even the doubles were flavourless and had the texture of overcooked canned beans. It was almost impossible to tell they were actually chickpeas and it seemed as though the filling was very old. Will definitely not be returning since Toronto has so many other wonderful affordable Caribbean spots.

I ordered the curry goat with white rice. You usually get it with coleslaw or a side of your choice at other restaurants but I didn’t because they didn’t have any. Worst food I’ve ever had, it was so bland. There was no flavour whatsoever and I even got the bottom of the pot for the rice. I was really displeased and will never recommend. This restaurant needs some serious re-evaluation

Good portion for the price. The curry was a bit watery and the cabbage in the salad was not fresh. The taste may be bland to some people but I like it.

5 people from my work ordered lunch here. None of us liked the taste. The j*** chicken did not taste of j**** the rice seemed like they over watered it. My salad had a hair on it. The doubles didn’t taste authentic.

Amazing homely atmosphere and incredible fresh food. Always go here for a quick bite. Highly recommended the doubles for a light snack or the curry goat and rice for a heavier meal. Great staff and great food

I have been to this place a couple times during the past few weeks and have been satisfied every time, so far the curry goat roti, the doubles and the oxtail soup are amazing. Ask for everything spicy, their spice levels are perfect

Went there hoping for a good roti but decided to get oxtail dinner instead. Should have went with the roti. The oxtail was really fatty and not appetizing as there were fat chunks everywhere. 1/2 of the dinner was salad. The rice and peas didn't have gravy so it was fairly bland and watery. The salad water/moisture might have made the rice worse.
