Toronto’s got a sweet new secret, and we couldn’t resist checking it out! If you’re a fan of Carlo’s Bake Shop, aka Buddy Valastro from the Cake Boss, get ready to have your taste buds tantalized—right from a vending machine!
Yes, you read that right! We’re talking about the Carlo’s Bake Shop vending machine, and it’s as awesome as it sounds. Nestled in the heart of Toronto, this magical machine is like a mini-bakery that serves up fresh, mouthwatering desserts on the go. We had the most incredible experience indulging in these treats, and trust us, it’s worth every calorie!
First off, let’s talk about the convenience factor. No need to wait in line at a bakery or place an order online; you just walk up to the vending machine, make your selection, and voilà—deliciousness delivered right into your hands! It’s perfect for those spontaneous sweet cravings when you’re out exploring the city.
We couldn’t resist trying the famous Rainbow Cake. One bite, and we were hooked! The layers were so vibrant, and the cake itself was incredibly moist and flavorful. Every forkful felt like a little party in our mouths, complete with that signature Carlo’s Bake Shop creaminess.
But it doesn’t stop there! The vending machine also offers a variety of other sweet treats, from rich chocolate cakes to classic cannolis. We decided to sample the Cannoli, and it was pure heaven—crispy shell, creamy filling, and just the right amount of sweetness. It’s like a little taste of Italy right here in Toronto!
The experience itself is fun and unique. Watching the machine work its magic and deliver your dessert is oddly satisfying. It’s like a blend of high-tech and homemade, and the best part is you get to enjoy these famous treats anytime you want.
If you’re in Toronto and have a sweet tooth, this is one stop you can’t miss. The Carlo’s Bake Shop vending machine is a delightful addition to the city’s food scene, bringing a bit of *Cake Boss* magic right to our streets. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just in the mood for something sweet, you’re going to love this experience as much as we did.
So, what are you waiting for? Head over to the Carlo’s Bake Shop vending machine and treat yourself to some of the best desserts around. Because life is short, and dessert should always be an adventure!

No different than the cakes you'd find in supermarket fridges. Premade, pre-packaged, tasting of preservatives and machine assembly line processing. The icing/frosting is very sweet while the cake itself is dense and kinda mushy. Got the confetti which was okay, and the red velvet which wasn't. No repeat eat from me.
Vending machine failed to get the cake I ordered and it stayed on the shelves so I couldn’t get it. Stay away from this automated mess and go to an actual bakery instead.
I feel Carlos would not approve of this. Extreme sweetness has replaced the creamy softness of a fresh cake. Maybe the sugar is extending the shelf life? Uncomfortable to crunch mini sugar particles while eating. Not sure why people think extreme sweetness is a good thing. It’s not. I’d pay even more than $11 for a slice but for something worth it. I wouldn’t eat this again if someone paid me. The second star is because I know it caters to most so I want to be fair.
I don't mind paying for something that's good, but this cake was gross. Way too much sugar. Betty Crockers cake mix is better
super delicious
Bought a slice of cake for $11.50 out of the vending machine. First off there was NO forks in the vending machine beside the cake vending machine as well the cake seemed dry and mass produced, also VERY sweet.! Not sure how often these are filled, I know it says delivered daily but doesn't meen they are all baked fresh. Definitely would not recommend at their prices!!! There is definitely alot of hype around the BRAND, I would rather spend my money at a local bakery!!!!!!!
The cakes are delicious but smaller than expected out of the machine
Omg. A slice of heaven, and the coloured stripped ones in chocolate or vanilla look so whimsical. Everyone I know gets a real kick out of receiving these for their birthday. The closest thing I’ve found to that old time Hunts Bakery Birthday cakes back in the day, for those of you that remember.
While doing some mystery shops, I came across this cake vending express shop. I was a bit apprehensive to order a slice of cake from a vending machine, but let me tell you I was so happy that I did. There were many options available from chocolate to carrot. I was so happy they had 2 varieties of funfetti birthday cake. The slice of cake was moderately priced at $9.99 and the recommendation was to serve them at room temperature. The slice that I tried was absolutely heavenly! So dense, rich, thick and decadent. I'll definitely be back and if you haven't tried their cakes, it's time to take a trip to Carlo's Bake Shop!

I’ve started seeing this brand pop up across malls in the GTA. They finally opened a store front in Mississauga Port Credit area. I was hesitant to try since it’s cake from a vending machine. My coworkers encouraged me to try so I did. I tried the classic birthday cake version. It’s exactly what I expected. A gross artificial tasting vanilla cake and icing. It was so unbearable I couldn’t finished and felt sick after. It leaves a chemical after taste on your tongue. If you enjoy eating oil based whip cream from a can, then you’ll love this cake! The texture and taste is similar to the meh quality you buy from shelf stable cakes at the grocery store. This cake is for you if you enjoy paying a premium watching cake dispense from a fun vending machine. I’m sure the $5 and $10 shelf stable grocery store cakes taste better. Or better yet, save your money and buy a real vanilla cake made with fresh buttercream at one of the many local bakers across the city! They won’t disappoint!
