The atmosphere was so festive. The food was, in typical Gangaram style, delicious,; but unfortunately, cold. However, the waitresses were atrocious. So sad that a reputation like Gangaram’s is reflected in such poor service. Terrible attitudes. I don’t think they appreciate where they are. They don’t seem to enjoy it. Very unfortunate.

Recently, I attended Caribbean Lymme with a bunch of friends.
I introduced myself with Anita, who is the operator of the restaurant. I know this woman for a few years, when operating the restaurant called Enmore. She is just an operator and not the owner for Caribbean Lymme.
My friends were engaged in discussions with other visitors and she intervened in the conversation to block them from acquainting themselves, as she eavesdropping and display rude gestures and remarks.
Anita was very poor and grew up working as a bar tender for other restaurants. Her father Gangaram, who was a money dealer in Georgetown, Guyana was fascinated with the restaurant business in Toronto, Canada. He worked for Calypso Hit, Sheppard Station for many years and then join Caribbean Hut In Etobicoke. He worked there for many years and left and then worked for Caribbean Lymme. Gangaram put Anita to operate Caribbean Lymme.
Anita is very impolite, rude to customers and spiteful. If she do not like you, she refused to serve you.
Anita is very vindictive and have bad habits, I dealing with customers.
Due to her unprofessional behavior and bad attitude, I will advise others not to support this restaurant, namely Caribbean Lymme.
Anita must make a public statement of apology and must never be vindictive in serving guests.

I recently visited Caribbean Lyme and I have to say, it was an amazing experience. The vibe is relaxed, but the restaurant is beautiful, the staff is super friendly, and the food is delicious! I tried the gango chicken fried rice, pepper shrimp, and pepper wings...all were fire!... packed with flavor— The Gango fried rice is definitely an original dish. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable.

I was in the area and I was looking for a place to eat. I’m happy that I found Caribbean Lyme. It’s a nice place, plus the food and service is great. You can tell that the owner takes pride. Well kept and clean. Food portions are large, and the price is right. I’m not from around the area, but I’ll definitely be going back.

The food is so good! Very nice Guyanese / Chinese restaurant. The Gango’s chicken and pepper shrimp is full of flavour. Our server Riya was so kind and the owner Anita’s story is also great. So authentic and very friendly. Portion size is HUGE, great value. Not too salty. Nice vibe inside, good music and comfy seating. They keep the place clean inside.
