Chainsmoker Urban Barbecue

Branch was not clean, had to ask employees to clean it. Food came right away but the chicken tasted baked with sauce on top; no smoky bbq flavour down to the bone. The jerk sandwich was ok, would like to see more flavour with the meals as it’s a smoked meal and tasted better from my cast iron at home.

Found this place on Google search for BBQ in the area. Ordered online for pickup. Food is incredibly tasty but lacking in options that are ABSOLUTES such as cornbread. Also, Mac and cheese is dry. Service is neutral, all server did was pint to my food bag; atmosphere is neutral, resto was empty (Friday @ 5pm)

I personally would recommend the beef ribs, they are amazing. Just on the pricey side, paid around $34 for 2 pieces of ribs

Pathetic customer service, and brisket which is supposed to take a while to be made, arrived within 5 minutes. Clearly microwaved food, super oily and unfresh… there was weird smell in their salad and dressing as well.

Better make menu with pictures, most of people would like to see what they ordering before they get it

I just went there for the first time and order the biggest meat plate to go. Food was amazing. I really recommend the place. For sure I will go back.

These guys never answer the phone, have been here several times and not once have they answered the phone to answer questions. I've tried calling maybe 10 times on different occasions.

My mom and I went to this place because we had a craving for some BBQ. We ordered a brisket, coleslaw, and mac and cheese. Sad to say we were extremely disappointed with the results. The first notice is that there's no BBQ on the meat but we get a tiny dipping cup as if we ordered from a fast food chain. Along with a tiny cup of coleslaw. The mac and cheese looked promising but the taste was non-existent. Overall if you want to pay for overpriced BBQ for low quality flavor this is the place for you.

Price was $28 for a 1/2 lbs of smoked Brisket, along with some light sides.

Brisket was decent. I got the lean part, not sure if you can pick between the lean and fatty part of the brisket.

You can ask for different sauces, if you aren't just happy with one.

Weirdly enough, the pastries here are really interesting, and worth trying. They were also worth trying.

I was looking forward to trying Chain Smoker. We ordered the brisket and ribs with two pops and total came out to $79 with taxes and then I added a 10% tip (for very little service - as in they just take your order at the counter and then bring to your table)., for total of $87. It is like a fast food ambiance and service and felt it was way over priced. The brisket was decent, but the ribs were fatty and not a lot of meat on them. Overall the meals were medium grade, definitely not great, but far over priced for what you received. If the portions were greater and the quality was higher, I would have been fine with the price. However, i could have eaten at a sit down , full service restaurant like Beertown or Cactus club for similar price.

The chicken and brisket sandwiches were not juicy at this location and didn't feel fresh.

The food was amazing! Brisket was tender, bbq sauce was delicious. I went back and got a little extra bbq sauce because it was so good! Would definitely dine here again.
