Reliable Roti, Nothing Fancy But Gets the Job Done!
Ducky’s Roti is your straightforward spot for a no-frills Caribbean meal. The roti comes out warm and well-wrapped, with fillings like the boneless chicken or channa that have a nice, mild spice level – perfect if you want comfort food without the burn. Sides like the pholourie are a solid add-on, and everything’s reasonably priced for what you get.
It’s not going to win any awards, though. The wait can stretch a bit during lunch rushes, and the interior’s pretty basic – think grab-and-go more than linger. Staff are polite, but don’t expect chatty service. If you’re local and need a quick roti hit, it’s decent enough to swing by again. Just right for an everyday craving.

Decent Roti Spot in Etobicoke, But Not a Standout
Ducky’s Roti in Etobicoke is a passable option for a quick Caribbean fix, but it’s not winning any awards. I ordered the chicken roti and a side of doubles, and the portions were solid, which was nice for a hungry afternoon. The chicken was tender with a mild curry sauce that had a hint of spice, but it was a bit bland and didn’t pack the punch I was craving. The roti itself was soft, not overly greasy, but felt underfilled for its size. The doubles were alright – chickpeas with a tangy chutney – but they were lukewarm at best, which took away from the vibe. Service was efficient; the staff were polite enough, and the line moved quickly, no complaints there. Prices are reasonable, around $12 for the combo, which is standard for Etobicoke. It’s a convenient spot if you’re in the area, but there are better Caribbean joints nearby for authentic flavor. 3 stars – it’s fine, but don’t expect fireworks.

Went bought a dubble, I found it way to sweet. I actually was thinking they were curry potato/chickpea.

Tiny little store with massive flavour. I’ve been craving doubles for a bit and looked Ducky’s up since it was close to a stop I had to make. I have had many a double and was hoping Ducky’s wouldn’t disappoint. Good news, AMAZING. The chew of the breading, the slightly sweet taste of the chick pea filling-it was exactly what I hoped for. Great price too. Lovely lady running it. I will be back.

Bought doubles and chicken roti.
The bara was too eggy. Threw off taste. Bought here before and never this bad. Such a disappointment.
Chicken roti was lacking flavour. The hot sauce couldn’t save it.
Need to find alternative roti and doubles shop.

Food had no taste no gravy no dressing on the salad waste of time and money
The jerk chicken roti was very delicious
Small place idc THE FOOD IS THE BEST. I get the doubles sometimes or the jerk roti. Now this area does not have many good places just pizza all around and tims. But this spot is a blessing especially moving in this area its the only spot that has flavor and good portion.
Two doubles for $6.75 including tax. Big enough to fill me up for lunch and the best in the GTA!!! And I’ve had a lot of doubles 😉

Had some Ducky's today. Devoured a boneless chicken roti and my wife had the Vegetarian Delight. Both were absolutely delicious! The resto is very clean, but it's an old spot and definitely not fancy, but if it's good food you're looking for, this is the place! Well done Ducky's!!!
