We’ve been living in this neighborhood for a while and first time to try out this Eggsmart. Food was okay but the service was below average. Not sure why other reviews say the server was friendly, but we got served only after calling them a few times and being kept waiting…(not the brown guy)

We should have known better. There were only 2 tables with people eating and it was well past 11 am on a Saturday. The potatoes portion left much to be desired, not well cooked and small. The salmon on the eggs was cold and the eggs were warm at best. The fruit cup was tiny. The plate I was served looked nothing like the picture on the menu. My friend did not like her order either, the potatoes again not well done, and the omelette nothing like the ones we have at Dennys. I remember coming to this location 2-3 years ago and it was way better. There is a reason why the place was so empty... And the service was mediocre at best, the kitchen staff was at the cash talking... they should have been focusing on the cooking.

I highly recommend the Eggsmart on Bloor. Friendly greeting as you come in, fast service, GREAT food. The only thing was the coffee. I thought at first it was just old but when a fresh pot was brought it was just bad. No amount of cream or sugar could fix it. Have the fresh-squeezed orange juice instead.

Pretty sloppy work with the food. Onion pieces in fruit bowl, the eggs option didn’t look like what was advertised either - supposed to be caramelized onions, mushrooms but everything looked like one big brown mix

I order BLT sandwich got fatty bacon not good home fries. The ketchup was weird never seen ketchup look like it did, kinda look like BBQ sauce, coffee is okay not terrible
