I usually love Ethiopian food, but this place was a big disappointment. The flavors were lacking, the portions didn’t feel worth the price, and overall it just didn’t meet my expectations. For the cost, I expected much better quality.

the flavors were there let me tell you. the injera was fresh and the portions were very generous. i’ve been to a handful ethiopian restaurants and this might be my favorite. thank you tiji for the recommendations and exceptional service:)

WOW! I have no words. We came in to dine for four and were so happy about the food and service. I’ve tasted Ethiopian food all over Toronto and this by far was the best of the best! So delicious, fresh. A must try!!!

First time trying
It was very good, ordering because it's a shared kitchen slightly confusing
Amazing service, and allowed me some substitutions
And the baklava was otherworldly

Just learned this place on facebook and went to a take out for the famous vegetarian platter. Very friendly service, the food is even more amazing, fresh, healthy and tasty, I am glad to discover this spot. Highly recommended!

Even as you’re ordering you might wonder if you’re in the right place. No indication that this place exists beyond a takeout menu taped to the glass by the register at Ghazale. The vegetarian platter was delicious, fresh, huge portions enough for a few meals.
As a vegetarian this food is to die for. I dine in and take out often. I always oder the ethiopian vegetarian platter, and the samosas are amazing. The staff is so friendly and kind. One of my favourite places.

Restaurantji Recommends
Once again back for the veg platter.
Once again it was delicious with ample portions.
Note: This is more a dinner Ethiopian spot. They don't have lunch plates, unless you want a large, more expensive lunch.
That said, they do have more reasonably priced middle eastern plates, as well as lots of snack options.
As per usual with middle eastern and Ethiopian restaurants, they have lots of veg/vegan options.
Bravo!!

Stuff your body actually wants in an array and style it can't resist.
One of those so good they know it and make it look ridiculously easy places that hits the spot even when you didn't know there was that type of spot to hit
Delicious
