“Tried the Truffle Fries at NYF Sherway Gardens and really enjoyed them! Fries were hot and crispy, with a nice truffle flavor and a good amount of parmesan and aioli on top. Tasty upgrade from regular fries without being too heavy. Would definitely order again when I’m craving something a little extra.“

“A wonderful little place serving a delicious well priced breakfast. The service is friendly and many people frequent it and are regulars, we noticed the lady serving folks often referring to people by their first name, joking around and giving that at home feeling. I unfortunately had a medical emergency while there and the staff was extremely kind and helpful, will soon be back for breakfast and to thank them for helping me during my difficulties. Nothing but great things to say about this place!“

There's a long history of this restaurant being in the area and a local favorite and arguably a consistent high quality option in the area. Id recommend it personally and try the fish, it's worth it. If that's not your speed, the lobster Mac and cheese is a crowd favorite but it's heavy.“

“Haven't been here in many years and decided to drop by to grab some lunch. I decided to get the large Ox tail on rice and peas with coleslaw. Everything was delicious, nice tender meat. A little too much bones to meat portions. That's why they got 4 stars. Otherwise everything was perfect. Nice rice and peas, the coleslaw was perfect. Not too hard and not too soft. “Had a lovely brunch with my dad and 2 children this morning and was served by a lovely young woman named Patricia. I believe she mentioned she was new to the restaurant but if she hadn't have mentioned that, we never would have known. Patricia was great. Knowledgeable with the menu , timing was perfect and just a joy to have serve us! I am also a server and I know a good server when I see one. My children rarely finish what they order when we're out but today they both cleaned their plates AND finished mine :) delicious food, great service. We dont live in the area but will definitely be coming back! Great job team 👏“

“I went inside believing it will be a spanish restaurant but it wasn't. I read that it's a very old Toronto legacy. Anyway, there was only one bartender cum waitress who was polite and courteous, but the dearth of waiters delayed their service offerings. The food was fine although we didn't eat much.“

​We have been loyal customers at Vila Verde for a long time, and they never fail to make us feel like family. This past Christmas Day was a perfect example of why we keep coming back. Even though the restaurant was busy and certain sections were closed off, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, letting us sit in our favorite spot near the back so we could enjoy a quiet holiday meal.

“First of all, I am not racist. Please let me make that clear. So while visiting my mother on the Derry wing today, all the residents gathered around the TV in the common room. while reception was dancing in her chair to her (Calypso Christmas music) which i have never heard in my life. It was sad that all the people that are 70s 80s weren't listening to Bing Crosby singing or enjoying music from their eras. they we actually forced to listen to this as they cant move on their own. My understanding is the tvs are for the residents, not the receptionist. I was very disappointed.“

He meticulously crafted a custom menu tailored to my exact needs and budget, and his great patience not forgetting his attention to details was truly IMPRESSIVE😊 The food was delicious and the cocktails were great. Talk about top-notch presentation 👏👏👏what really made the night shine was the exceptional service Tami and Rebecca had provided, they both were patient, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our guests had an amazing time. I would totally recommend Turtle Jacks to anyone looking for a “good time” they truly know how to deliver an unforgettable experience!!!
