I bought candies at this store today and was very disappointed with their condition they turned out to be old and covered with a white coating, which suggests that they are past their date. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time: I previously bought wafers here, and they were also stale.
Because of this, I don’t plan to shop at this store again. I hope the management pays attention to the quality of their products and storage conditions.

I discovered this Ukrainian 🇺🇦 bakery a year ago and I cannot tell you enough good things about it. Starting with the service that by far exceeds any service I received in my area and Canada. The employees who work there are highly attentive and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The cappuccinos they make in-house are amazing and the setting is ambient and very relaxed.
The food and baked goods sold there is on another level! The variety is amazing. From Kefirs to dairy products, to daily breads and desserts .. Absolutely a MUST place to visit if you're in the area! By the way, there's plenty of parking and it's FREE!!!

Unfounded for the third time! raising product prices.
Thank you, but when your own customers are taken for fools, it's mega humiliating for business!

My review of this establishment is negative due to the fact that they sell 2 day old baked goods at full price without telling the customer. Once a complaint is made they do nothing to discount or refund the purchase price. Misunderstood when I asked about product freshness. Broken english is the only way to communicate?
You've lost a customer. Bye!

I ordered three korovai/kolach and the representative was Victoria. She was friendly with a professional approach. My order was made on time and better than I expected. Thank you Victoria and her team for the great job.

I’ve long wanted to visit this store, so highly praised by Ukrainians.
Unfortunately, the only positive impression was left by the bread.
1. Staff and Communication:
The store was severely understaffed on December 30th, with only three employees for the entire space.
All of them seemed to be in a bad mood, and one of them responded so rudely that it made me want to leave immediately.
Price tags were inconvenient or missing, so I had to ask about prices. To my question, I received a curt “I don’t know!” 🤷🏼‍♀️ followed, after a pause, by a more polite explanation: “The bread is sold by weight, you’ll find out the price at the register.”
This experience killed any desire to purchase anything else.
If management is reading this, imagine how many customers you’re losing because of such interactions.
2. Selection and Accessibility:
The store is huge, but the selection is quite small.
There is no self-service access to the dairy section. I waited for someone to assist me but gave up.
If you’re still interested in retaining loyal customers, please address this. A customer’s basket could easily be 4x larger if you improved both service and product variety.
3. Product Quality:

• The pickled cucumbers ended up in the trash—they were as soft as cotton.
• The chicken Kyiv cutlet had clearly been thawed and refrozen multiple times, tasting like something from 2019. It, too, went straight into the bin. My New Year’s table was ruined.
• Baked goods: This is the store’s strong point. The bread is excellent—unmatched in Toronto! But!
The selection is minimal, shelves were empty, and the poor service made me lose interest in trying or asking about anything else.

4. Checkout Experience:
Despite a long queue, not a single register was open. It’s astonishing that people were there ready to spend money yet stood waiting in silence until someone decided to show up.
When two cashiers finally appeared, they got into a verbal argument right in front of everyone. I had to ask them to hurry up because I didn’t want to stand there listening to that nonsense while paying for my purchases.

This was a 100% disappointment. I truly hope this message reaches someone who cares about the store’s reputation and that we’ll see positive changes in the future.

The store has a good selection of bread and pastries. There is a section with ready-made food, frozen dumplings, and pancakes. The selection of dairy products is not very large.
There is a cafe with pastries and cakes.
The goods stacked on the floor in the center of the store look awkward and strange. It would be better if it was placed on the shelves. And it looks like a warehouse and it’s inconvenient to walk around these boxes lying on the customers’ aisle.
