The FOH staff , Bev, Judy and Sarah knows the menu and caters to the regular patrons however takes time to make families and first timer at the restaurant feel welcome . I came to gabbys after doing some Christmas 🎄 shopping. I was so tired and hungry and just wanted to relax. It was busy in there, but not overwhelming. The bartender acknowledged me right away, introduced herself as Judy. I ordered a pint of beer and asked for the menu. I wasn't sure of what to get. Everything looked so good. She recommended the special which was half price wings. There were many options of sauces. I chose the Parmesan Caesar. It was out of this world delicious 😋 I absolutely recommend it. I was satiated. Judy asked if I would like another beer. I was going to go home. But I felt very comfortable and I felt like hanging out a bit longer. When she wasn't busy, we talked for a bit and she complimented me on my pink hat. She made me feel good and we shared some laughs. Overall an enjoyable atmosphere and the bartender on duty was professional and friendly. I will definitely go back for these wings and welcoming staff.

First time at Gabbys was customer Christmas party. What a fantastic time!! Both bartenders ,Sarah and Tonia ,were absolutely amazing. Even tho they were busy with their regulars they still made me feel like I was part of the crowd. Tonia even took the time to introduce me to a few so I’d feel more at home . Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming.other than an older gentleman who “politely “ told me where to go in no uncertain terms while out smoking. But I was told that he’s a long term regular and he’s always rude to everyone and not to let it deter me from coming back. So aside from that unpleasant exchange the next time I’m in Toronto I’ll be sure to drop in for a pint. Hopefully both the lovely Ladies will be there again!
