Excellent food and great portions. Be prepared to take some home. Spicy so let them know to go easy if you need to.

Best Ghanaian food in Toronto and best price as well. Travelled 2 hours back and forth twice a week at least just to get some waakye when uber wasn’t a thing lol

I was recently in Toronto and wanted to try Ghanaian food. The agusi stew was disappointing. Tasted like undercooked tomato in oil. The beans stew was the same.

My gf Layal and I tried this Ghanan Restaurant on Islington last night that was a hidden gem near our tattoo place.
We tried the Fu-Fuo(potato dumpling),Jollof Rice(chicken&egg) served with mixed spinach.
Owner was very friendly and the spice was just right and still have left overs for today.
We are happy we tried this place. Next time fish dish
Decided to give the jollof here a try and was greatly disappointed ( especially with the price I paid) can’t speak on anything else on the menu. But I’ll never know because I will be not coming here ever again
