Golden Star Hakka Szechuan&Caribbean Restaurant

So they apparently don’t allow to dine in at exactly 9:24PM when i get there…! So business should update their dining time and from 10 PM to 9:15Pm or 9 PM I guess So got a bit disappointed but yeah! I like there bombay paneer and just wanted that! Its a good place to visit.

Food were delicious, good customer service and place were clean. There shrimp with green beans and seafood chow mein were superb Highly recommended

Nice takeout or dine-in spot! The owner is super cool and the food has not disappointed us yet, very tasty. Especially the pepper shrimp.

This is my go to place for Hakka Cuisine. The food is amazing. I'll be blatantly honest with my review, it's the chef that's pulling this restaurant to a success, the serving crew is just not there. Specially the Indian looking guy. Super arrogant, rude and unprofessional.

We order chicken Manchurian and chicken szechuan Both are way too salty not Eatable and both have same taste. We talked to the manager, she argued that's how we make make and we can't do anything about it. We will not be going there again. Very bad customer service by manager.

it was my first time ordering food at this location. The cashier representative was very friendly and explained the difference between Szechuwan, Manchurian, and chili styled eggplant and gave us delicious chicken wings on the house as our pick up order was over $50. We ordered chicken fried rice, chicken chow mein, chili eggplant, lamb skewers, chili shrimp .The food was for my 81 year old mother's lunch party with her sisters and it turned out absolutely delicious. The food was a large serving and was enough for 7 people!I would definitely be ordering again and i highly recommend this restaurant for Chinese Guyanese style cuisine.

The chili chicken was very hard and the server said it's supposed to be like that. The chicken wasn't spicy despite me reminding them. Then I had to ask for water twice and then the service charge was added to the bill. The server said that it's Canada and nothing illegal happens here so I have to pay up....

Food was good. Lots of food for price. Made for a food dinner option came across by chance. Glad we did.

The chowmen is delicious. Reasonable price and a large variety.Must try their chicken soup.

This restaurant should be a 3 star at best. My dish was too spicy, without my conscent. They wouldn't replace it or give me my money back.

The food speaks for itself. For that alone come here.However, this place was having some issues with front staff for a long time. Thankfully there are 2 great people who work there now. I have had the privilege to see both of them learn the ins and outs. They own it like they own the business. Thanks to that, this place can get the proper respect the owner and kitchen staff had back in their days at their original location in Rexdale.Continue to shine as one of the amazing gems to eat at in Rexdale (Cause we on the up!)
