Horrible Tacos they had chips with guacamole and no other sides. What if somebody doesn’t like guacamole they have no salsa and no queso which is the cheese dip
Also, their tacos are mediocre no flavour and it’s all ground beef style, which is disgusting
The people that work there have a language, burial problem and gave me the wrong order
Will I be going there ever again big fat NO you have to be authentic if you’re gonna have a taco store and if you want to serve the public, please speak English thank you

I have a love-hate relationship with this place. On the positive side, Gus Tacos has a unique vibe—almost like a classic yet minimalistic 80’s diner. The menu covers all the staples of traditional Mexican food, from quesadillas to chips and dip, and of course, tacos. I’ve tried the fish, chicken, pastor, and carnitas tacos, and flavor-wise they were fantastic—juicy, simple, and packed with taste.
That said, the prices are hard to justify. A single taco runs about $6, and the portion size is tiny—basically two bites. To make a proper meal, you’d need 3–4 tacos, which comes out to around $24 before tax. While the food is genuinely delicious, the portion-to-price ratio just doesn’t make sense.
In short: the tacos are great, but expect to pay a premium for very small portions.

Came very late on a Sunday evening. About 15 minutes before close. They said they are about to close but I need to order fast. I ordered two chicken burritos bowls. No rice, no kidney beans, extremely low number of tomatoes. If they didn't have enough quantities left, they should not have taken my order. And even after my order they kept taking more orders. My boxes were 40% empty and I felt cheated. Never coming back, and if someone is ordering from here, make sure to open your packed food before you leave.

Finally got a chance to stop by Gus Tacos and we were not disappointed. They have options for the corn AND flour tortilla lover. Choose from either tacos, quesadillas, chilaca, burritos or tortas - then choose your protein. We tried the battered fish quesadilla, birria taco and a pastor chilaca - all with fresh cheese and avocado. All three were excellent, best of all (for me) they have hot sauce that is actually hot and flavourful. We will be back! (And I'll buy a jar of that hot sauce)
UPDATE: We've been back many times! Pastor Chilaca + Bean & Avocado Taco for me, and the Fried Fish Quesadilla for my Better Half.

I've been to several Gus's Tacos and it's one of the few places that remain consistently delicious across Toronto. Like all the other locations you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
The staff here was pleasant and friendly, the food arrived quickly. Solid location if you want a delicious and affordable dinner

I had been to the Scarborough location at the recommendation of a friend and it was excellent. The Browns line location did not disappoint. If you want great authentic tacos, this is your place. 10/10 will go again.

love Gus tacos, we always order it by uber eats but went to dine in for the first time excellent service, they’re all kind and friendly food was amazing like always super fresh we got 2 tortas ,1 birria and the other al pastor both 10/10 will always choose gus tacos !! Rosa de jamaica was also so yummy
