I have a love-hate relationship with this place. On the positive side, Gus Tacos has a unique vibe—almost like a classic yet minimalistic 80’s diner. The menu covers all the staples of traditional Mexican food, from quesadillas to chips and dip, and of course, tacos. I’ve tried the fish, chicken, pastor, and carnitas tacos, and flavor-wise they were fantastic—juicy, simple, and packed with taste.

Finally got a chance to stop by Gus Tacos and we were not disappointed. They have options for the corn AND flour tortilla lover. Choose from either tacos, quesadillas, chilaca, burritos or tortas - then choose your protein. We tried the battered fish quesadilla, birria taco and a pastor chilaca - all with fresh cheese and avocado. I've been to several Gus's Tacos and it's one of the few places that remain consistently delicious across Toronto. Like all the other locations you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

The staff here was pleasant and friendly, the food arrived quickly. Solid location if you want a delicious and affordable dinner
