I wasn’t aware Filipino food was able to be bland. Sisig was cold, diniguan had zero seasoning.

My friends and I had a good experience at Hangouts Filipino Restaurant and Catering. For $24.99 per person, we got a generous boodle fight spread that included regular rice, tilapia, squid, shrimp, mussels, pork skewers, okra, eggplant, mango, watermelon, lumpia, pechay, siomai, and salted egg. The food is good, and the soup was really good, definitely a highlight.

I also really liked their palabok, and the halo-halo was really good, a perfect way to end the meal!

The staff were friendly and the portions were generous, making it worth the price.

The only downside is the wait time. It took about an hour before we could eat. If you’re really hungry, the boodle fight might not be the best choice. Still, it’s a great place to enjoy Filipino food with friends.

Whenever I need to bring food to work, they are always reliable. My office loves their food and they are always willing to compromise on requirements and delivery. They are all very kind and then food is delicious.

I ordered online.. and i requested that the mango is hilaw and crunchy.. but they give me ripe mango 😕 and also the siomai is messy spilled out the sauce on a plastic.. naglilihi pa naman asawa ko!

Ordered Kare-Kare. $17+ SC . One of the main ingredients of kare kare is peanut butter. I don’t know how they came up with orange sauce. No taste at all. I have to recook what I ordered and add a peanut b… I will never order again. Hangouts cook it right please ,so your customers will come back. You add a lot of meats but it’s bad quality. We are in Canada not in Philippines we pay right so do it right.

I ordered chicken adobo. There was a 45 min wait and this is what I got - as you can see, it's just bones with barely a few shreds of meat on them. The taste was also stale and bland. I've visited a lot of filipino restaurants in the GTA and this was by far the worst.

Oh and they are giving you free desserts if you give them a good review. That's sketchy as hell

Feels like home eating and speaking pinoy here. Panalo dinuguan. 👌🏼 Thank you.

Good Filipino food; love their pancit Canton; pancit Canton is incomparable with others that I have tasted. Highly recommended restaurant if you're craving to eat Filipino foods and you are in the Etobicoke area

My husband and I used Hangouts for our wedding this past September! It was a Filipino-style wedding with approximately 80 guests in The Chariot Eventspace! Ms. Faye and her team were great! Ms. Faye coordinated with us via email and text message leading up to the event, and she accommodated and executed the dishes we ordered amazingly! Her setup was great, and all her staff members were so adaptable, positive, and served our guests to their hearts' content!

Thank you so much for your service, Ms. Faye and Team Hangouts! Our family and friends have done takeout orders as early as a week after our wedding! We are definitely catering with you again!

We tried dining here for the first time yesterday, and I have to say, the bangusilog was quite the surprise – the bangus was literally the size of the sunny-side-up egg! For a meal priced at $12.99, it just wasn’t worth it. We've eaten at other Filipino restaurants around Wilson and Bathurst where the food is more affordable, and the portions are far better. The chicken inasal tasted good, but again, the portion size for $12.99 is disappointing. Safe to say, we won’t be coming back.

If this place used less salt in their cooking, it would be so much better
