Honest review. I recently dined at Harry’s on Bloor, and overall, it was a bit of a mixed experience. The ambiance was wonderful and created a really nice atmosphere for the evening. The staff was also fantastic – super attentive and genuinely warm, which really stood out.
Unfortunately, the food itself didn’t quite match the service. The appetizers were just okay, and I was pretty shocked that we paid $50 for two French onion soups, which felt way overpriced. As for the steak, it was just kind of average and lacked seasoning – we actually had to ask for some sea salt to give it a boost. On the bright side, the dessert was absolutely phenomenal and definitely ended the meal on a high note.
In short, it’s a lovely place with great service, but maybe not quite worth the splurge for the food itself.

Hardly ever post reviews, but this one really needed it. Our experience here was nothing short of perfection. Yes, it is on the pricey side, but in my opinion, worth every penny. The atmosphere was classic steakhouse: dimly lit, lots of wood and leather chairs, plenty of space, small and intimate. Pre-dinner cocktails were delicious. Epic wine selection. Most importantly, the steak was amazing. Possibly the best I've ever had. Cooked exactly as requested, flavourful and juicy. Sides were impeccable. Very special shoutout to our server, Barbara, who took excellent care of our table. Highly highly recommended.

Celebrated my birthday dinner with my husband and 5 month old son.
Not only was the food amazing, but the staff blew me away. They were so polite and accommodating. I had to breastfeed and they made a little corner with curtains so I could have privacy. They went above and beyond my expectations.

We’ve often passed by this restaurant and kept it on our list for a special occasion. We finally decided to dine here last Sunday. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations.
While we anticipated the higher price point, we also expected a dining experience to match. The food was decent but not particularly memorable or worth the premium pricing. Watching our steak being grilled by someone wearing shorts and cros didn’t align with the upscale atmosphere we thought we were stepping into.
Overall, we left feeling underwhelmed and not 100% satisfied.

Harry's is what you hope a steakhouse to be. It's old school, it's classic and it's solid every time. Wedge salad and the house made pate are a must order. Service is professional, yet fun. My go to, and it totally rocks. I love you Harry's.....so much

Was there for dinner tonight and I wish I got the waitresses name because she was absolutely amazing. The food was great and so was the service.. We loved this place!
I had a disappointing experience at Harry’s. It seems that the chef can only cook a rare steak, because our meals were significantly undercooked. The only thing saving this restaurant is the friendly and attentive servers. You could definitely find a better steakhouse in the area and probably spend less
