No evidence of handwashing. Kitchen staff was throwing and playing around with the food in the back in the kitchen, slapping our food on the warmer food after we ordered burgers. I asked the employee at the front counter if they wear gloves in the back as I saw them playing with our food without gloves and she said no but they wash hands constantly which I didn’t see happen once. The employee that I talked then turned to the kitchen staff and I heard her saying quietly she asked if you use gloves and the staff in the back laughed.
Remember you are also in customer service and we can see what’s happening in the back. Have some respect for the people that walk through the doors. Absolutely rude and was completely turned off of eating.

Decided to get a good old fashioned burger. I ordered an original combo. My burger was outstanding! Tasty, juicy and topped just the way I like it. The fries were perfect and the staff were very friendly as well. I will be back. Thanks again!!!

I had a very disappointing experience at this Harvey’s location yesterday. I went there with my friends and ordered poutine, but the staff at the drive-thru window—possibly named Sabiksha—was extremely rude and unprofessional.
Not only we received the wrong order, but when we went back through the line to have it corrected, she misunderstood our request again and handed us onion rings with an attitude that made it seem like she was doing us a favor. At no point did she apologize for the mistake.
When we tried to clarify that we didn’t want onion rings and simply wanted the correct order, she didn’t make any effort to understand us and instead began arguing, accusing us of lying. It was incredibly frustrating. We were not looking for free food—we were more than willing to pay the difference—we just wanted what we had originally ordered.
Customer service is a key part of working in the food industry, and unfortunately, this employee demonstrated a clear lack of it. Basic courtesies like “please,” “thank you,” and “sorry” go a long way in resolving issues calmly and respectfully.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides proper training to ensure a better experience for future customers.
