He tells you what you need, and what you don't. Keeping his customer's needs in mind, he doesn't try to make an unnecessary sale. More than once he's told me I didn't need to buy equipment or ingredients (things he sells) for my purposes. The store is also well stocked, despite its seemingly small size. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to produce beer, wine, or (in my case) mead at home.
