This hotel bar is really fancy looking inside, in a classy way. Like, stonework and paintings. The bartender is skilled and theres probably 100 bottles of liquor. Early closing time dosent bother me, I live down the street and its the only bar within walking distance in the winter
Home Smith Bar is a comfortable, classy oasis. Stone and dark wood, club chairs, fire. A justifiable extravagance after a healthy stroll along the Humber. Arrangements since the pandemic include a more limited menu and no jazz yet. But the food is good and the drinks are excellent. A very pleasant spot.
All the finger food menu items were delicious, especially the Sweet Potato Fries which had just the right amount of crispiness.Staff was super friendly.It was a Thursday night which seems to be a regular Jazz multi performer jam. The entertainment as great, although I wasn’t expecting it, and was trying to talk business.It seemed to draw a warm crowd who clapped in appreciation.Comfy seating, warm atmosphere was just what we needed on this bitter cold day.
