If I could give a five star, they would need to give the white rice option to something else healthier such as black or brown rice. Otherwise the spicy tofu soups are just very very good and flavourful. It was not salty at all which is a good sign the cook is aware of the flavour. Love the bean sprouts condiment and kimchi. They were so tasty! Staff accommodating.

I took 3 discerning 12 year old boys for lunch and Insadong did not disappoint! Service was fast and the food was delicious! Perfect march break lunch for all of us! Highly recommend!

We decided to go for late lunch at Insadong, a Korean restaurant. My friend ordered Dakgogi Jeongsik (Chicken teriyaki served on an iron plate). I ordered Dolsot Bibimbap (Rice with vegetables topped with fried egg) and one can have a choice of beef, chicken, tofu or eel served in a hot stone bowl. I chose beef which wasn't a lot. Food was good. We were given side dishes of kimchi, pickled radish and potato in sweet soy sauce to start with and tea. The kimchi was flavourful and was not too spicy, the pickled radish was crisp and has the right sweet and sour taste. The restaurant is clean. Customer service is excellent, food served fast and at reasonable price.

Came for dinner with my mom and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing, the broth of the beef bulgogi was perfect. Exactly what you need on a cold day. The stone pot bibimbap was delicious, the rice crisped up so nicely. I used the extra sauce from our tteokbokki on top for some extra flavour.

I ordered for takeout. I asked for extra kimchi on the side, waitress looked at me like I'm a bug. The girl, she has a damn attitude that doesn't belong any of restaurants.she even said something with c pal? Only asked for kimchi and I told her I'd pay too.

I went with my boyfriend and was the most embarrassing time ever. WORSTof the WORST service from the girl with red hair. Asked for water she rolled her eyes, we've called her several times and was busy on her phone, she was the rudest waitress I've ever seen in any of toronto restaurants. Not sure how she got hired, but if anybody asks for recommendations, I'd never ever recommend this restaurants until she's out.Worst waitress and worst service ever. So disappointing.
