Oh my goodness, I have to say what an Amazing experience I had at John's Fish & Chips.
I walked 25 minutes to get here and it was worth it. The moment I walked through the doors I was greeted with a Beautiful smile and a very warm friendly Welcome!
I had the Haddock with fries and coleslaw and it was Delicious! The batter was crispy and light , so full of flavor.
This is a Wonderful family Owned business and it's now my new favorite place to get Fish and Chips.
I had a wonderful conversation with the family as I was dining alone.
I will Certainly be back.

Absolutely blown away by John’s Fish and Chips.

The service is warm, fast, and genuinely friendly from the moment you walk in. You can tell they care. The staff makes you feel welcome and really goes the extra mile.

And the food? It's just incredible. Perfectly crispy fish, the batter is mmmm, golden fries, and everything else that tastes fresh and high-quality. You can tell it’s made with care. Even the tzatziki stands out.

It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the service are this good, every single time. John’s delivers on both.

Highly recommend. One visit and you’ll be hooked.

Was looking for some fish and thought I’d give Johns a try. Will say it was well worth the $22! I was fulled completely and couldn’t even finish my fries. The staff was beyond friendly, the grandmas greeted me as if they were my own. Definitely give them as visit, well worth the time.

Have tried several different dishes here and each one was spectacular. Cooked to perfection every single time. I recommend the Saginak as a starter and the homemade Baklava is one heck of a sweet way to end such a fabulous meal.
No matter what you choose as your main course you won’t be disappointed.
This family owned business are the most personable and friendly people, and it makes going there a very enjoyable experience

If you’re going to do a review on your parking experience (where you should not have parked) at least make it factual. You probably couldn’t get parking at the laundromat because of people like you who ignore parking signs and claim there aren’t any. Both businesses have signs. Meanwhile as you’re parking at John’s to just “unload” laundry my husband has to drop me and my 87 year old brother off and go park out back where there is ample meter parking. He doesn’t park at the laundromat as we just “grab a bite”. As for you being yelled at - just
more nonsense. Joan

Have been going here for an about a year and actually don’t live close by but for fresh food it’s worth it . First time today had their lobster roll . It has to be the freshest and least overloaded in filler like many with mayonnaise. The lobster fresh taste shine through . To find a better one in the city would be difficult. We also enjoy their fresh salads , I usually get Greek , which I believe the owner may be and we all know Greek restaurants deliver affordable quality . The lunch fish and chips plate is a bargain , plus you can have the fish cooked any style . It’s compact for parking but across the street the paid parking ends at 4:00 PM . The class of the owners was notable after my wife left her purse there with $ and all her cards , of course 2 days later realizing we were overwhelmed they had it in safe keeping , unopened .

What an experience! Parked outside of the restaurant because the parking beside the laundromat was full, doesn’t say reserve for customers. one of the owners came out and was yelling at myself and my partner saying that her customers can’t get a parking spot and when were we gonna move we? were unloading stuff for less than two minutes there’s no sign it says reserved for customers. It was an honest mistake and we wouldn’t have parked there if we had known it was reserved for customers of that specific restaurant. To the owners, you may want to get a sign that says that parking outside of your restaurant is reserved for customers only. and learn and use a how to speak like an adult instead of yelling at people in the parking lot.

Went for lunch this afternoon and WOW was it ever good. Quick service, great portions, DELICIOUS food and even better atmosphere with the owners Bill&Maria. Will definitely be visiting again.

My wife and I were just walking by and decided to come in and give it a try. The batter was flaky and there was lots of fish. I had the Greek poutine as a side. It was absolutely delicious. There are no pictures because the food was devoured too quickly. Would recommend to anyone.

Had a delicious dinner at my favourite Fish and Chips restaurant in Etobicoke. The food was sooo good and the customer service at this family owned and operated business was ecen better! Excellent experience and was made to feel like one of the family! A special gem of a place that everyone should check out!

We have dined in at John’s many times but this past weekend we decided to cater in and we had the most positive experience. The food was great as usual despite the fact that we didn’t eat it immediately. And the service top quality as well. The staff organized our meals for 17 people so that we could distribute them easily and not a thing was missing. We even got a chance to taste their battered artichokes - delicious!

If you like fish n chips you will love John’s. They do an awesome battered but they also offer fish that’s breaded and their grilled branzino - yum! The owners / chef show their Greek flair starting with their fresh greek salad, village salad where you sop it up with grilled pita bread, homemade baklava, and ekmek.

This was an absolute joy. The halibut and chips were cooked to perfection. Also had coleslaw which was delicious. I find most coleslaw a little too vinegary but this one had just a hint of vinegar that was perfect. Took my 90 year old mother and 91 year old father who very rarely finish their meal. There wasn't a crumb left on anyone's plate. Bottle of Guinness was the real thing. Not seen this type of bottle before. I'm not a Guinness drinker but found this bottled stout very delicious.

Atmosphere was absolutely spot on had so many nice touches in the decor. Everywhere I looked there was something that I was saying "oh look at that." Although it's a nautical theme it's very upscale, chic nautical. I had to ask who decorated. It was the owner, Bill's, wife. I tell you this lady nailed every detail. She should be offering her services as a decorator to.others. Very talented couple.

Met their pet pirrana. Don't put your fingers in the water!!! True story ... while on vacation the fish was fed 20 goldfish. Now he has an orange tint to his bottom half. Lol

Was a real joy to eat here and chat with the owners. Classy, friendly couple. We will definitely be going back.

Thank you

This is a nice little family fish and chips restaurant. Very old fashioned vibes with friendly and welcoming staff. The halibut was excellent; the batter was very light and crispy... Not greasy at all. The Greek salad was simple, fresh and delicious. Overall, a great dining experience.
