Cozy spot with a nice atmosphere and good coffee. The only downside is that the milk in the cappuccino can sometimes be overheated, making it hard to enjoy right away. The setup is mostly self-service—you bring your own order to the table and clear it afterward. Seating is available both at the front and back.

We tried pastries today. They were not fresh. It felt like they were a one week old. Very sad.

I was a bit horrified that my order of two items (coffee and a sandwich) came up to a little over $20. For what you pay for the food and drink feels pretty average.
I also I do not think this café is meant to be for anyone under 35, the cafe space doe not feel comfortable to sit in my opinion as you feel out of place. The seating is mostly full of folks that come to catch up with friends in groups of 2-5 people from what I saw. It feels easier to just pick up an order and walk out, but I think I’ll only do that when I have $30 to spare.

Café Rouge in Etobicoke is one of those rare places that feels like a secret you almost don’t want to share—but it’s too good not to. Tucked away with a quiet, European charm, it’s the kind of spot that invites you to slow down and savour the moment.
The highlight? The bakery. Every pastry, loaf, and tart is made with care and it shows. The quiche is my personal favourite.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting—perfect for a quiet coffee or afternoon lunch.

I like the taste of the cafe, but customer service and management are so bad. There are some young people serving people, but there's no managing and observation. When they're busy, it's obvious they're tired and don't take the business seriously. Probably the owner doesn't care about customers because they're busy most of the time.

I have visited this café a number of times over the last few months and have consistently received beautiful coffee and excellent service. The inside atmosphere is charming with a distinctive Parisian feel.
It is an excellent place for a coffee and chat with ample inside seating and lively atmosphere.
In better weather, they do have a few tables out front but due to the location that seating is limited. On my last visit, I had Americano, which was perfectly executed. Will definitely return to try some of the delicious looking pastries.
Very authentic French pâtisserie with the most delicious baked goods and excellent coffee.
They have more than just baked goods but quick meal options and the friendliest nicest staff. It's so cozy, warm and inviting in there.
They also have wine and French products. What a lovely spot!
Lovely little place, the people behind the counter are very friendly and upbeat, and the food has been very good so far - the pastries and sandwiches are very good, fresh greens and well-baked croissants - and the coffee is decent (though not my favorite in the city, it's an acceptable cup.)
Interior is a bit cramped, but clean and comfortable.
Beautiful coffee and an excellent selection of croissants and pastries , everything I tried was fresh and delicious. They offer a wide variety of options, so there’s something for everyone.
The coffee is top-notch, and the overall vibe of the place is cozy and welcoming. There’s a good amount of seating inside, plus a small outdoor area if you prefer to sit outside and relax.
Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a great coffee and pastry spot!
Shane is the best, he makes awesome lattes and treats the customers with respect. Homey and great vibe. Thanks for your sincerity Shane!
