Well, I ordered from this store on Uber Eats for the first time, and honestly, I was a little nervous - baklava isn’t always fresh. So just to reassure myself, I called the store and spoke to the owner. He was so kind and assured me it would be fresh. And guess what? The baklava was absolutely fresh and tasted amazing. I had ordered it as a treat for my coworkers, and during the call he casually mentioned he’d add some cookies on the side. I thought he was joking… but he actually sent them 😭🤌🏻 Such a wholesome, beautiful moment. The sweets were incredible, and as someone with a major sweet tooth, I totally recommend this place!

I went to Kanny’s Cakes to buy a Christmas cake because I was looking for something close to home. They had great reviews, so I decided to give it a try, and I’m really glad I did. The cake was amazing. I also picked up a few cookies and every single one was excellent. Fresh, flavourful, and not overly sweet.
The owner, Kanny, was incredibly kind and welcoming. I’m sorry I forgot the names of the two women working there, but they were just as friendly and helpful. The whole staff made the experience feel warm and personal. Kanny even gave me a complimentary biscotti, which was delicious and a really nice gesture.
Overall, great quality, great service, and a genuinely pleasant visit. I’ll definitely be going back to try more items.
