Excellent service staff were polite and courteous and very little. Wait time, the food is phenomenal. Especially to grab on the go.

Loved our visit to Kettlemens! I got the Veggie CLT on a garlic bagel with a side of tater tots and everything was spot on. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly toasted. The bagel had that perfect chewy crisp texture and the filling was loaded with flavor.

We also got the herb and cheddar bagel with cream cheese and it was just as good. Soft inside, warm, and packed with cheesy goodness. The tater tots were crispy and golden, the kind you just can’t stop eating.

Great service, quick turnaround, and that fresh baked bagel smell as soon as you walk in. Definitely a go to spot for a good breakfast or snack.

I get the hype. It’s good. Is it expensive? Maybe, but I find it worth it. Customer service is whatever. As long as my food is made properly I don’t care about their frowns and attitude. Food was very good. Absolutely no issue with it. Salmon was delicious. The tots were crispy. The produce was fresh. The bagels were just so fluffy. I loved the food.

I stopped by early this morning around 7 a.m. to pick up a dozen bagels to share with my colleagues as a small gesture of appreciation for the staff. There were no lines, and no one waiting behind me, so there was really no excuse for the poor service I received.

The man behind the counter haphazardly threw the bagels into a bag, tossed in the sleeves without care, and when I asked for a box to make the presentation nicer, he simply said they didn’t have any. Even after I explained that the bagels were meant as a gift to show appreciation to the team, he showed no interest or concern.

He didn’t even offer to package the bagels into the sleeves — I had to do that myself at home. The entire interaction felt careless and dismissive.

It was disappointing — the lack of care and attention made what should’ve been a thoughtful gesture feel frustrating instead. I only hope the bagels taste better than the service I received.

We stumbled across this place on our travels. We decided to stop in and give it a try. When I say that was the best bagel I’ve ever eaten, I mean 20 minutes after eating it I was disappointed I didn’t get a second one. I had a tuna and tomato on a works bagel, added lettuce and red onion. It was
Phenomenal. Fresh. Filling. Delicious.

Inside is clean, plenty of places to sit, and you can watch them make the bagels from beginning to end as you wait for your food. They sell their bagels and cream cheese and various other items as well.

I live in Nova Scotia and I hope one opens near me one day so I can bring everyone I know there !

Ummm.... Where is the smoked salmon? When I brought it back to the counter the rude lady told me that's how it comes. Really??? Very disappointed.

Delicious homemade bagels in Etobicoke!!! We took ours to-go and headed for the water front! Warning if you get there on a weekend around lunch time expect a little bit of a line and a wait this place has gotten quite popular!

A great bagel place with healthy sized portions. The pretzels are amazing as is the Kettleman’s special.

I do recommend the fresh homemade cream cheese and it’s nice they have dairy free options too.

It is my partner’s birthday today, and we stopped by to claim the birthday reward. We showed valid ID and the app, but the reward wasn’t showing — it seemed to be a glitch. At first, one of the staff members (possibly a supervisor) agreed that sometimes the app has issues and said it would be fine to give the reward. Then they suddenly changed their mind and talked to their manager, Claudia.

The manager refused to honour the birthday reward, even though we clearly showed proof of the birthday and explained the situation. Instead, she told us to email customer service and go through a whole process — which felt unnecessary and disappointing, especially on a birthday.

It completely ruined what was supposed to be a small, happy birthday moment. It would be nice if the staff handled situations like this with a bit more understanding and compassion in the future.

The Quality of the bagels have dropped significantly, there is not attention to detail and looks like the standard have gone down, most of the bagels I got the last two orders seems like as long as they are looped together it passes looks like they stopped hand rolling the ends together to lock them, it also super dense maybe not being able to proofed for long enough. Really disappointing as they charge a premium so you would expect the quality to match! Been coming here for a while and very sad to see the quality drop this bad! I hope management comes up with some program for quality control to improve quality brings this location back to what the community knows and loves

Strange people work here. Staff have a lot of attitude. 99% of staff all seem to be of only one specific ethnicity. Not sure why they only hire one when Canada is supposed to be a multicultural place. On top of that, there is a weird guy walking around taking pictures of customers on their tablet. Not sure what the purpose of this is - this is middle of the day. Walking around take pictures of customers is a bit creepy and uncomfortable.

Bagles are nice, some better than others. Sandwiches are not bad, but pretty overpriced for what you get.

Overpriced and Disappointing

If you’re looking for an overpriced bagel and a side of regret, Kettlemans is the perfect place to stop.

I paid $18.29 for a combo that was honestly terrible. The bagel was hard and dry, with barely any meat inside. It didn’t taste fresh at all. The tater puffs were burnt and had zero flavor. Nothing about the food felt worth the price.

For a place that claims to specialize in bagels, the quality was shockingly low. Everything from the texture to the flavor to the portion size was a letdown.

Super disappointed. Definitely not going back.
