Amazing food. Great fan of their veggie kurma. We also ordered the baby corn and it was great. Highly recommended for people wanting proper south Indian food.

The food was very fresh, tasted delicious. The staff is very welcoming. Their kids menu is amazing too. The mini uttampam for kids tasted really nice. We loved that they have two parkings right outside their location that was very convenient.

The Chicken Chettinad, parota were excellent—full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The biryani was decent but could be improved to match the quality of the other dishes. The service was fantastic; the girl at the counter was attentive and did a great job ensuring a smooth experience. Overall, a satisfying visit with great service and delicious food!

Tried Kothur for the first time with the family for Friday night takeout. Order time told was 35mins, but it was more like 45mins, but I chock that up to it being the start of the weekend.
The ambience is nice, staff were friendly, but the atmosphere in the restaurant was strange. It was busy but no music, so you could hear all conversations.
We ordered the lemon rice based on other reviews and decided to get butter chicken for the kids, and the chicken curry at a higher spice level. I have to admit the food was really flavourful and tasty, some of the best chicken dishes we've tried. The butter chicken was on the spicy side, so the kids felt it, but nothing a bit of yoghurt couldn't help with.
The one thing we didn't like about the food was the lemon rice ingredients. Although it was delicious (if you're Gujarati, it resembles pateta-powah), for some reason there were severely undercooked yellow lentils mixed in (uncertain whether it was Tuwar or Chana Dahl), but they were as hard as rocks... Luckily us adults encountered them before the kids! Not enough to put us off, because everything else was fantastic.
We'll definitely try to dine-in next time, as we did enjoy the rest of our meal, but we'll request them to cook the Dahl properly if we order the lemon rice again. I saw some really good veggie dishes there too, so that'll be in the menu for our next visit. Gulab Jamun we're the icing on the cake, really well done.

I came for the Dosa and my non-Indian husband got one I’ve never heard, the “Xacutti” Best curry I ever tried! you rarely see *real curry leaves, and anise pods anymore. The dosa chutneys were exquite! Chef Vijay come to see us after we sent thanks to the kitchen for the care put into our food.
Recently I have tried in Kothur Restaurant
After so long I had some very good Indian food in Etobicoke region.
Their Butter Naan, Butter Chicken and Andhra Gongura Chicken was simply amazing.Though their Mutton briyani was good, I felt it's little costly for quantity they serve.

I recently had dinner here with my friends and it was fantastic. We ordered Butter Chicken, Gongura Chicken Gravy, Butter Naan, and Goat Biryani. The Biryani was a highlight, it tasted just like the flavors I remember from back home, with the perfect balance of spice and richness. The Butter Chicken was creamy and full of flavor and the Gongura Chicken had that unique tangy taste that was simply amazing. The Naan was soft and buttery, perfect for scooping up the gravies. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic south Indian flavors!
