La Sirena Espresso Bar & Gelato

Was searching for an espresso bar and stumbled upon this place to only be disappointed. I walked in and it was dead. It’s understandable as its Thanksgiving and I came just before closing. The girl looked like she was sleeping behind the counter and I woke her up. I ordered a flat white. She literally used the premade brewed coffee that has been sitting there probably all day and mixed it a ton of milk. I told her it’s suppose to be a double shot of espresso mixed with milk and she said yeah that’s what it is (when I fully watched her make it). Waste of 5.20 for a coffee and milk I could have got from Tim Hortons.

Ordered a large ice latte which came with one cube of ice that was melted before I got to the door . I asked for more ice and the response was “sorry we are low on ice “
This information would have been nice to know before ordering since with my ice latte I expect to have ice . There’s a store next door that sells bags of ice that they could have went and purchased . Poor customer service .

Only reviewing the coffee which was not good.

To be desired. Most food options were not available, there was a fly in with the croissants, we did get an iced and a hot drip coffee, both very watered down with zero flavor. $10 for both with a tip…

$8.50 for a cup of sub par two flavour gelato not even filled up like others have said. Maybe just go for the coffee next time

The worse gelato ever. Server could not have filled the cups with less even if he tried harder, barely half full.

Iced Capp had not coffee flavour at all. Tasted watery and milky. It was not blended either. The place was dirty with flies all over the front counter where the drinks are prepared. The washroom was also dirty with flies. Not worth the price.

Purchased gelato ice cream for 8 dollars and it was freezer burned or it was melted and refrozen. Was very disappointed. I had to throw it away. I asked how old the ice cream was and he couldn’t tell me how long it be out. This place used to be very good and have quality gelato but now there not taking care of their products. Very sad

Excellent gellato in a clean pleasant building. We didn't feel like walking all the way to the popular Tom's ice cream place and standing in line so we decided to see if Sirena was open and try it. We were not disappointed. We'll be back.
