This is that small business food spot in your neighbourhood that you hope stays open forever. No matter how many fancy sushi restaurants I try I always love sushi take out from Lan and feel at home stepping into the establishment. The freshness of the food is fantastic and the perfect temperature. The family who runs this place are absolutely incredible people who always put a smile on my face when I see them.
Highly recommend the lobster roll and Alaska roll.
Lan sushi was a great experience! We easily placed an order online. The sushi was a bit pricey, but what do you expect from Sushi nowadays :). Takeout only, on second floor, not wheelchair accessible. The sushi itself was delicious. Great miso soup, and awesome sashimi. Rolls were average. Overall a really yummy dinner! Will be ordering more.

Got the sashimi combo and very satisfied. Order was ready quick, price was very reasonable ($20) and the food tasted fresh and was delicious. This will be my go to local spot whenever I need a quick and tasty bite!

I ordered a Maki party tray by phone and picked it up. Over the phone, I asked if it was possible to replace one item on the tray with something else. They said I would need to pay for the cost difference, which makes sense, but they also mentioned an ‘exchange cost.’ I don’t understand what the exchange cost is or why I should have to pay it.

This is family business running by husband and wife. We ordered Philadelphia, Caterpillar roll, and Spicy one roll. While they were preparing our order they gave us a free hand roll. They were so nice. Sushi was delicious and super fresh! We will definitely visit this place again

We have been ordering from LAN for many years. They used to be located in the Junction, and we lived close so it was great. Then they moved to Etobicoke and we missed them! Now we live in walking distance of LAN and we couldn't be happier! A wonderful couple owns the business and are such lovely, hard-working people!
