Everything is great about this place. The coffee, sometimes I have a pumpkin latte is great. The huge chocolate chip cookie or a croissant, awesome. The service is impeccable from the 3 different female employees who work up front. I've only been going for about 4 months but they know me and remember my past order. I usually sit and they bring me my order, albeit at a plastic table and chairs, but I don't care. It's a tiny mom and pop operation, and they bake everything in the back which smells like my grandma's kitchen when I was a kid. Bonus. And the 2 owners always greet you if they are in the store. If you are anywhere in the vicinity of Lakeshore Ave W, between Royal York and say Kipling, you must check this place out if you like coffee and sweets. Oh, and they have a loyalty card. 9 purchases and the 10th is free. In today's environment of large franchise coffee shops this place is a nice change.

I’ve been visiting this place occasionally over the past two years, and it just keeps getting better every time!
The cookies are absolutely delicious (they’re the main reason I keep coming back). I recommend going earlier in the day when you can smell the fresh baked goods. The space itself has definitely improved since I first started coming. They’ve now repainted the walls and added new signage, which is a nice refresh. It’s clear they’re putting in sincerity and effort.

Get the cheesecake! There are so many things that are good here! You can taste the butter. The cookies, the rice pudding the pain au chocolat. But the cheesecake is special! Creamy, caramalley and just the right sweet level. You can start your diet tomorrow!

Greasiest danish I’ve ever had.
And I’ve had a lot of danishes over the years.
Ordered a danish to go. They expected a tip (umm what?). Taste was OK, not great, but appearance was mid. Texture was a little tough and chewy. Based on how little they had to sell, I’m not sure they are doing very well. Which could factor into it.
Based on texture, mid appearance and OK taste I should likely rate lower, but many seem to like them, so I’m giving 2 stars based solely on my experience with 1 danish. But..
The place smelt awful. Like burnt coffee or something. Almost turned around and left before ordering. I wish I had lol. My rating is solely for the greasy danish.
The cookies are so delicious! Danishes are so fresh and flavourful and Teo is very kind and welcoming gentleman, made us feel so welcomed and cared for. We will be back!
