Way better than that 'red moon' place down the street. Much cleaner too.

Was served room temperature coffee. I mentioned this to the staff and they did provide a new one but they should be trained to not serve coffee that isn't piping hot.
Hands down best cookies in Toronto, perfect balance between softness and chewiness.

Among other things I ordered a 85% dark hot chocolate. Here’s a picture - you be the judge of this. The other drink I got was an iced mocha - they didn’t care to mix the chocolate syrup with espresso before adding the cold milk and ice. The syrup just sat at the bottom and I could only get lumps of chocolate sauce if I pushed the straw all the way down. Phew! How sad an experience where both the drinks I ordered were an absolute waste of money.

Decided to try the Lemon Bichon and the chocolate chip cookie because it looked like the ones in the cafeteria.
The lemon bichon had a nice crunch from the caramelized sugar however, i found the pastry to be a bit dry and more on the crunchy side than chewy and the filling was custard. There was only a very slight hint of lemon flavour. Definitely check out Barbershop Patisserie for lemon bichons and they are around the same price too.
The chocolate chip cookie was crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside with a hint of bitterness from being slightly burnt. The flavour was good but I thought it tasted similar to the Betty Crocker mix.

Location near humber...OK
Review below for lakeshore lovation near islington.
So very hard to get a straight answer!
Ask about size of cake and they say it depends on how many slices they cut it into???
Mentioned I liked a bread they used to have. Large round loaf full of nuts and seeds.
She said yes we have it right there....and pointed to a traditional long loaf.
Like pulling teeth I learned that no...it was not same shape...not same recipie...not even same company that baked it....but somehow it was the same??
Wish there were categories.
Product quality 5 stars for cake and pastry two for sandwich.
Service...1/2 star max for critical thinking skills 3 stars for the other components of service.

Hands down best cookie in the GTA. O here if you want a classic, gooey cookie. Don't even bother with Craig's, Crumbl etc.

I have been buying chocolate chip cookies from Le Gourmand for years (Spadina location), and the quality has always been exceptional. In my opinion, they are the best cookies in Toronto. I’ve introduced many people to them, and we all agree they’re the best we’ve ever had.
However, I do have one concern: the size of the cookies. Before the pandemic, they were noticeably larger than average. Over time, though, they’ve gradually gotten smaller. This past weekend, I visited the Lakeshore location and received the smallest cookies I’ve ever had in nearly six years of being a loyal customer. They were about the size of cookies I could get from a grocery store.
At nearly $4 per cookie, I think we can agree that they shouldn’t be the same size as something from a grocery store or Subway. As someone who has watched the size decrease over the years, it’s quite disheartening. While I understand the economic challenges businesses are facing right now, it’s disappointing to see such a noticeable change.
Your cookies are still the best, but I hope you’ll consider bringing back a more substantial size to match the price. .
Additional feedback: You may either want to use clear plastics to cover up food at the front by the windows to avoid germs and flies. I've been here too many times to witness this. I also witnessed one of the staff petting a dog and going right back to serving food without washing her hands or wearing gloves.

Please hire people that can properly speak to customers as there were two girls there that hardly spoke English and looked at each other not knowing how to tell me my order is not ready when I placed it online.

Upon my arrival, I was met by two exuberant young girls, radiating with lively energy; their service was both swift and enchanting. The sandwiches and coffee were nothing short of extraordinary.

Unfortunately very bad place...i thought these guys want to make a difference to the morning coffee experience but turned out even worse than McDonald's or other shops...coffee and slice of a pie almost 10 $ and they making you to pay tips and at the end you getting your coffee running out of your cup cause lid is not holding properly...i believe for this kinda price they could come up with better idea....you guys are butchers and don't care about your customers....shame on you...
