Lola’s gelato has had my heart ever since moving to the neighborhood and I’ve owed them a review for a while now, being my go-to spot for a sweet indulgence. Not only do they have amazing, authentic italian gelato, but they also never seize to amazing me with new bursting flavours that change with the season (and an amazing variety of dairy-free options!!). Do yourself a favour and try the pistachio, hazelnut, dark chocolate, Ferrero roche, or pumpkin spice flavours (they are all good)😍
My go-to local coffee shop! They have the best organic coffee around, and their croissants are absolutely amazing—perfectly flaky and fresh every time. They also have a great selection of gelato, with plenty of dairy-free options (hazelnut and Nutella are my personal favorites!). The staff here are so kind and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic experience. The Sassy Sea Turtle is one of the best ice cream flavors I've ever had and they have pão de queijo! Their bakers are Brazilian. It was such an amazing experience and it made me really happy to find a treat from home. I will come back soon!

Can you imagine something as happy as ice cream (Gelato) can make you miserable. Use to be an amazing place with a cool neighbourhood vibe, quickly turned sour due to the behaviour of employees who doesn’t want to work there and it reflects on the service. Rude behaviour, always angry.. like relax enjoy the ice cream and be happy.
I REALLY wanted to give this place a 5 because the gelato is yummy, however, the service is actually terrible.
They have a rule that you need to pay before you taste test, which I respect because I’m sure they have people who taste test and then don’t pay. But when I went in with my boyfriend, no customers were there and there was 3-4 staff who just ignored us when we stood by the gelato. We looked so confused. Then few minutes later, a lady asked if we had been helped and I said we just wanted to try the gelato. And she said “what size?” I was so confused and said I wanted to taste it. Instead of explaining the policy , she continued to repeat herself and said “I need to know what size”. Other staff members didn’t even acknowledge us. The entire experience was weird and we really didn’t appreciate it.
I would rather go to BB cafe next to it who also sells gelato. Not as good but service was way better

Busy little gelato spot. The Not Nutella gelato was delicious. Right by the lake, a nice place to walk down and see the city while enjoying the gelato.
