8 of us went for brunch at 10:30 for brunch. Food portions were big and the owner came to the table to bring homemade hot sauce which was delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive.
Either the table is too high or the chair was too low or a bit of both because at my height of 5'7” the top of the table was at my upper chest level. Food portion size was good and value was good. Taste was good but nothing to write home about. The decor was nice but the music was too loud. The service was pretty attentive although at the beginning we had to wait awhile and ask another waitress to call our waitress to place our order.
The Eggs Benedict with Applewood smoked bacon was the best we have had in the city! And then the complimentary blueberry pancake, as the kitchen was a little backed up, was out of this world! We will definitely be back!
Fabulous dinner tonight! Melissa was our server and she was fantastic. We had the mushroom flatbread, LFC chicken, the sliders and the brussels sprouts. everything was absolutely delicious. Kudos to the chef!!! 🥰
Exceptional service and the food was delicious. It was perfect for my business meeting. We didn't feel rushed.
Really sad that the cauliflower steak I used to love is now made spicy and over seasoned
Even my partner who is Indian and can handle spices says it used to be elite and now it’s only good
Please bring back the old cauliflower steak as well I miss it so much as a healthy dish

Great place with high ceiling, nice patio for summer time. Moderate pricing for food and drinks for a decent elevated dining experience.

I had a very good experience here. From the second I walked in, I enjoyed every moment. I met the owner Luigi and he was great! The cocktails were really good. I had the Half free range chicken with potatoes and it was delicious!! The service alone here is a reason to come back! Thanks for making my experience memorable.

This was the most pathetic restaurant visit I've endured in a long time. We went for my dad's birthday and it took ~50 minutes for us to get our food (3 people), my sister has a gluten allergy which she mentioned to the waitress. an hour later we get our food and hers has gluten bread on it. We wait for her food to be corrected and by that point everything went cold. Others got their food before us despite sitting down 30 minutes after us.
No apology from the staff and we had to pay full price for cold dishes and 90 wasted minutes. Do better lume.

I always have an amazing experience here at Lume! I live around the corner so it is my go to spot for food. The food is consistently delicious, the service is always attentive and friendly, and the ambience made it such a great place to enjoy a meal. I’ll definitely be coming back as usual. Shoutout to chef Alex as well!

The service was great. Servers were very attentive and helpful. The food was not that good especially for the prices they were charging. We ordered the meatball which I felt was not made fresh. It was dry on the outside and a little cold in the middle. We then ordered the Korean fried chicken (I forgot what they called in on the menu) which was not crunchy at all. We felt like we were eating soggy chicken but at least the flavor was there. My girlfriend ordered the steak which was very disappointing. How is this place going to charge us $36 for a quick fry thinly cut strip loin. Not only was it overcooked, returned and then undercooked and then returned again, but it was also lacking seasoning. I ordered the rigatoni which I thought was extremely underwhelming. The sauce tasted like it came straight out of a can of primo pasta. The meat was just regular ground beef. This pasta dish was something a college kid would make when they’re on a budget at the grocery store. Not to mention the sauce was also soupy. I returned it and ordered a smash burger. Even that was disappointing. The brioche bread was dry and the meat was once again over cooked taking away all the moisture from the beef. At least the fries were really good. I never complain this much with food at restaurants but for the amount we paid we felt scammed. I will not be coming back here and I wouldn’t recommend the food here. It would’ve been nice for the staff to comp a part of our bill like other restaurants would.

My guests and I had a great experience at Lume. We dined as a party of five with two young children aged 2-4, and received excellent service from beginning to end from the entire staff (particularly our waiter, whose name I believe may have been Camilo). While the restaurant has a chic lounge vibe with its lovely outdoor patio, it also proved itself to be a family friendly establishment that was very welcoming and accommodating to our needs with the kiddos. The food we ordered was delicious (salmon and pasta plates) and elegantly presented. Where the place stands out though, is in its exquisite service and ambiance. Would return and recommend.
