Ordered the steak as a main and the Brussels sprouts as an app. The steak was medium rare but very stringy and the dish lacked salt but good flavour overall which included mash potatoes and some veggies. The Brussels sprouts were a bit overcooked for me and the sauce was a bit watery but also good flavour. The standouts were the exceptional service by our waiter who checked in constantly and helped us with recommendations. Also really loved the ambience.

We decided to get different appetizers to try but my fave was the Brussel Sprouts coz it's seriously good. Perfectly roasted and crispy brussel sprouts with creamy hummus and labneh is such a delicious combination. And with the addition of the sweet drop peppers and toasted walnuts - you know you have a winning dish here. For our mains, we ordered the Bolognese and Vegan Pappardelle Pasta and another friend ordered the Fish & Chips. The flavours in each of these dish were perfectly balanced and all ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. We were also surprised that they give massive portion sizes. Not complaining, but for the price we paid it was totally worth it. The New York Cherry Cheesecake is everything a cheesecake should be - rich, creamy and holy cow was sooo good! The Strawberry Romanoff is very refreshing and just the right sweetness - a tasty treat to beat the summer heat. This restaurant also prides itself in providing prompt and efficient service. Alma the server assigned to us was simply the best. She's friendly, attentive and checks up on us all the time which ensured a positive dining experience for us. We can tell she's passionate with her work since she genuinely enjoys interacting with her customers. Kudos also to all the staff especially to Chef Alex. Aside from developing delectable and unique dishes, Chef Alex also manages to interact with his customers which gives a personal touch to a customer's experience. We will definitely be back soon and can't recommend this place highly enough.

My friend and I had an unforgettable experience last night at Lume. We wanted to check out the summerlicious menu and upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff who seated us at our table. It was extremely busy, which is always a great sign! Once our server came to take our order, they mentioned that they have half price bottles of wine. We appreciated that very much since we were also trying their summerlicious menu. We had the Brussels sprouts and shrimp as appetizers. Absolutely delicious! Our main course was the AAA flat iron steak and lobster Ravioli- absolutely amazing! For dessert we chose the New York cheesecake and it didn't disappoint. The ambiance was both relaxing and vibrant. We ended up socializing with the guests seated at the next table from us and it was fantastic! What blew us away most, was how chef Alex went out of his way to make sure our experience was perfect. He made us feel like valued customers and took the time to chat with us and check in on us throughout the evening. One of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. We waited over 40 minutes just to get an appetizer, and during that entire time the waitress never checked on us once. We had to flag her down just to ask for water, and even then, no one noticed or cared that our glasses stayed empty most of the night. I ordered the lobster ravioli, but without informing me, they served a completely different pasta dish because they ran out of ravioli. Not only was I not given the option to choose something else, but the lobster wasn't even properly cleaned, making the dish unpleasant. To top it off, the dessert came out already melting, clearly it had been sitting out too long before reaching our table. Overall, the service was careless, the food poorly executed, and the staff seemed completely indifferent to the experience they were providing. Do yourself a favor and skip this place, it's not worth your time or money.

Our 3 course meal took 5 hours to come through thanks to no server being assigned to us from the beginning. We opted for the summerlicious menu. The food was only average. We had to wait for at least 1-1.5 hrs before we reminded someone and then got served some cold mush between the 3 courses. I ordered the New York cheese cake for dessert and after a lonnnng wait, I was told they ran out of it and my choices were a tart and a crème brûlée. What did come absolutely promptly was the cheque! Ambiance and interior is wonderful however I had to give a fair rating because they had AC that was poorly working if not barely working at all in 30+ degrees Celsius heat! It was way too humid and hot for any one of the parties to eat comfortably (we had a little kid at the table who couldn't eat and enjoy anything in that heat). Considering that we reserved in advance for a table of 6+, it's disappointing and find it ridiculous that they wouldn't even call to notify us that the AC isn't adequate and call to see if we would've been ok with that.
