Bought 6 bags of Pastizzi to take to Calgary. Excited to try but found them inedible. The filling was average but the pastry was absolutely bland, no taste and extremely dry. Never again from there.

This place used to be the best place in Toronto to buy pastizzi. Now, it's 23.50 to get a dozen cooked and it's mostly dough. Hardly any grease. Let's face the fact that pastizzi will never be as it was before. In Canada at least. It was a sad day.

Malta Finest Bakery Is not just about the quality, flaky light pastry and the nice soft delicious cheese inside, but it’s also the size is bigger than the other so-called Maltese bakeries!! Everyone in my family asks me to buy dozens and we order ahead because we love them fresh, even though they are provide frozen.

We have been using Malta's finest for decades. As a Maltese family we have enjoyed taking home frozen Pastizzis for all occasions for as long as I can remember. There are several Pastizzi shops in the GTA however after trying others we come back to Maltas finest. If you are looking for a fancy dining experience this wont be it however if you are looking for Pastizzi that are steeped in longstanding traditions this is very hard to beat.
